@joadhenry 45 here, too. Next stop, 50. I still can't believe the 70s were about 40 years ago. That's what's so great about having a collection room like yours... walk in and it's like stepping back in time.
@TheSentinel3000 I wish the prices were like stepping back in time too, when I first realized people actually collected toys, and saw the prices of the stuff I used to beat against the walls and fire up on the roof my jaw dropped....but seeing all that stuff and more importantly, remembering stuff long forgotten was like a drug to me....and of course with any good OCD there is the tendency to snowball out of control....
That boat at 5'43, I still hope to find it in green one day! I had it when I was very young! I had (and found again) the Pillsbury Doughboy (not the box though!) Great Dairy Queen cup at 6'53! Oh wow, Aunt Jemima syrup!
Let's see, I have the Swan chalk box (at 1'56), Fisher-Price TV music box (2'43), Lite-Brite, Kep-Plunk (from 1969),... oh wow I love that kid with the cone at 3'23! I once had the Ernie puppet. For most of its life, he only had his head left! Wonderful cone dispenser! I remember the Sip-along TV commercials with Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm! I have that Post Bobby Sherman record! Wigwag, Bar 6, old-style Cherry Blossom... great!
