Range Rover Supercharged 0-100 km/h

Why does Landrover still use a Supercharger? All other companies that don't suck have moved to the Turbo i.e: Subaru, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and Ford. Whats the deal? Its a hell of a lot heavier and gives the same benefits, land rovers are living in the past, compare this to an X5 M.

With a person in this car and it's non-dry wieght of almost 6000 pounds and only a 400hp engine to pull that much there's a huge pwr/wgt ration imbalance there. Ofc it's faster. That's 15lbs/hp for the RR and 5lbs/hp for the bike.

Either way it doesnt matter, as there is no point trying to make huge cars go "fast" as it takes far too much resources and is such an ineffective waste.

Bmw used to own landrover hense they have the x5 as they used the knowledge from landrover to build it, hense hdc on it. Also bmw spend £1 billion developing the l322 range rover then when it was ready to be launched sold landrover to ford. whom have now sold to tata (indian company ;P) have you ever been in a range rover? they are superb for motorway driving and are excellent off road.
