@hatepod It is not Turkish. It is a very old song for sure, even my grandmother remembers it. But no one knows where it is from. Us Serbs say it is Serbian. One thing that I noticed is how the Serbian/Greek/Sephardic versions all have talk about a girl with black eyes. I do know that the a number of Sephardic Jews lived in Kosovo, and of whom became Serbs along the years.
