  • stones have feelings too... Being a lover of Taoist thought, I loved the simplicity of Au Wong's definitions especially of the defintion of a Master: "someone who started before you did." love it. although some of my Masters started after I did, they just practiced more... lol. Awesome book.

  • Where did u get this from?

  • One of my favorite books.. really another perspective to physics and understanding of our world ....one thing though ....... !@#$! greeks have said all that should be said about all this a couple of thsnd yrs ago .... gary gets credit for reminding us stuff like this in a popular and understandble way

  • I think it's wonderful that you've posted this audio so people can have free access to it. Many people would never even know about it if they didn't find it on YouTube. I believe it's important for people to listen to this. Thank you so much.

  • Is this the whole book? or is it just an excerpt?

  • awesome ! THANKS !!!!!!!

  • I had to read this book as a physics novel study and I hated it!! I'm pretty open minded about books and I adore most aspects of science, but I just could not get into this book!

  • @svliving The key word in your comment is that you "HAD" to do it. Then it just becomes you didn't like it being out of your own control. You are then thinking in as a technician rather than understanding it as a Scientist! ....and that exactly what Gary is talking about when differentiating the two disciplines. Forced? without questions you HAD no answers to FIND!

  • It is EASY and JOYFUL to understand, just lie back and listen and enjoy.

  • In Soviet Union nature of the microcosm describes you by quatum mechanics.

  • Just close your eyes and listen !!! Magnificent. Enlightening. Joyful. Physics proves metaphysics.

  • Dear monaszy35 - thank you for posting this here! Right now on ytube there are many who are getting strikes because they share information that is beneficial to the common public. Many people will not listen to this because they will presume they cannot understand. However, this is written for the common wo / man and if listened to with an open mind - what he says makes sense. I believe this should be required reading! What the book refers to as a "master" shared the book with me. Exactly!

  • I read this book in the eighties and it still is an excellent book which covers quantum physics in a conversational approach. I've given away many copies to friends as well. I have been disappointed with the Gary Zukav's foray into the spiritual and metaphysical fad (New Age, etc.) to turn a dollar, but those questionable activities would not prevent me from continuing to give away copies of the book, Unfortunately, those same activities may have significantly reduced his credibility.

  • @nolearningcurve Why would you assume spirituality is a "fad" or that he has delved into it to make a dollar. So very cynical. And by the way, everything--EVERY area of life--is infused with the spirit, so in a way it's the only true conversation to have.

  • @Gatsby999888 I think getting 4,320 US dollars for tutition to help people reach their Authentic Power constitutes turning a dollar. (See his website for confirmation of this cost) By the way, this is for tuition only; no travel or hotel costs are included. It appears very obvious that to me that this is all about getting dollars from people. It's really hard for me to see him as the author The Dancing Wu Li Masters. (Still a good book)

  • @nolearningcurve think the best value is in understanding this book originally came out in 1979 and dont know much about the website but, the bigger point being 1979 was almost 32 years ago that someone put quantum physics in such a way a lawyman could read it and one of the very first books that put science and metaphysics togther. dont know about the wu li master part since even in his book, it was an example to set the tone of his book . as you very well said, "still a good book" after 32 yrs

  • Just listen - FANTASTIC !

  • Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I've studied some of Gary's other books but had NO IDEA what I was missing here!!! Thank you for sharing!!

  • doing a review on the mind of the soul looked for videos for author gary zukav posted on my writers blog the idea girl says word press :)

  • The Seat of the Soul changed my life

  • Dependent Co-Arising

  • Easy to understand, amazing, joyful info.

  • photons appear to be conscious...

if you are not familiar with this, you need to catch up in quantum mechanics, and that premium source is right here by Mr Zukav.

Stephen Hawking has new show on DSC now, as well, sunday at 9pm.. Into The Universe. superb.

  • Thanks a lot, I mean that.

  • Easy, fun, just listen and it is joyful.

  • this just blew my mind - thanks so much for putting it on the net - i have been wanting to read this book since i discovered gary on oprah.

  • WONDERFUL. worth listening to repeatedly-FUN, enlighteningFREEING.

  • This book certainly expanded my horizons when I read it in the 80's. I related it to what I experienced after taking LSD 15 years previously.

  • i wish someone would have given this book to my physics prof! Maybe he would've made it much more relate-able and not so dry--good Lawd the memories! tnx 4 uploading!

  • @islanflava how bout u?:-)

  • nedthetoothpick agrees. Ned also believes in Neddism.

    Nedthetoothpick*com

  • Just sit back and listen - it is easy to understand and the info will amaze you- U don't have to read -jsut listen. Enjoy, it is great.

  • Aaabsollutely EASY to understand, FASCINATING and more spiritual than most religions and it proves subatomic particles/waves -all that is CONSCIOUS (God? being everyone everything everywhere?)

  • Gary Zukav's book, "The Seat of the Soul" is a must have! I read this one when i was 18, eye opening back then, ....eyes still open...hehe

  • >> Bravo Zulu!!

  • Unlike Western culture, the traditional Asian cultures were not at all shocked when they first heard of the incredible leaps made by quantum physics and relativity. The great ancient sages had always taught that sensory awareness was extremely limited and did not allow us to see either time or separateness as the illusions they actually were.

  • Thanks for the upload !

  • 170 minutes of pure, riveting knowledge. Such an enlightening mix of spirituality and science opens the mind to the multifarious universe. After listening to these tapes, reading the book is a must. The words of Gary Zukav insight a personal Renaissance in all ponderers. Highly recommended.

  • Does anybody know where there is any video footage of this chap? I used to enjoy watching him on Oprah. There must be something out there huh? Someone? Anyone?

  • he is on netflicks

  • I love the audio and now have the book. It would be grand if we could start the audio in the middle or it was broken into more parts as I have not been able to sit through the 2.5 hours and each time I begin listening again, it must begin from the start.

  • BRAVO! LOVE ZUKOV.

  • 5stars! Cheers for this post!

  • thankyou. love zukov!

  • I've read that. I took it out from the library once. It's a great book. :)

  • shame you cant find Gary Zukav on videos on youtube. I used to love watching him on Oprah.

  • thanks:)

  • Mr.Quantums garage. LOL!

  • This is a great book even if you dont like seeing mysticism tied in with physics like me, especially like how it takes the time to present the math and equations behind the physics and make it understandable to the lay person.

  • Excellent book, humans can't exist without light and light cannot exist without humans, every atom knows therefore has a conscience. The best way to fight evil is through compassion. The wave of love is stable the wave of fear is unstable. I highly recommend the book "The Seat of the Soul" by Gary Zukav.

  • i've got it but i haven't read it yet--i'll read it starting tomorrow

  • I think very highly of Gary Zukav's work.

    Robert Schwartz

author, COurageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth?

  • I personaly find 'Seat of the soul' his best book ever - simply love it!!

  • Haven't heard this yet. But I like Gary Zukav. He seems to have a lot of clarity. I dont know how he gets his info though! (how does he know the stuff he knows)

I read his other books, but not this one. I will probably listen to it at se int.
