One of my favorite childhood movies. I love the way this movie was written too. On the DVD commentary both Moira and DB said that really became friends during filming because they had to learn how to skate - that created their bond. Those two really were something special. Love the Cutting Edge...Still !

HAHAHAHAHA, the most beautiful piece of this trailer is the end, where they show dorsey being wheeled into the hospital on a hospital bed & then it shows her sitting with the figure skating coach in like the hospital waiting room & Kate Mosley says something like "Okay, so it isn't perfect..." I remember when I first saw this movie, years ago when it was first released. It's being shown again in Bryant Park, a week after they showed "Blades of Glory". "Blades" is basically a re-tread of this movie, only with a male/male pairing instead of a male/female one.

Eh, the disney original figure skating movies are miles better than this in my opinion :/ It might be the fact that the two skaters in this film are already far too old to even be considered for the olympics... But, it could just be the poor acting...

i love this movie, i wish i owned it. whenever it comes on tv i just have to watch it. i didn't like the second one that much, which didn't even make sense because the daughter is way older than what she is supposed to be. i mean they got together in '92 so if they had a daughter she would only be like 14 or so not 20+.
