Hollywood teaches us that blacks were in medieval Russia (the new red riding hood movie), that Viking gods could be black or asian (Thor) and that there were blacks in medieval England (Merlin...Robin Hood).

Its good to tell stories, but to remake a story but have it set in the same time and region as the original (Merlin) and have black people in it, its distorting what was meant for the English people. Its no different then having a remake of the 10 commandments and trying to insinuate that the ancient Hebrews were Aztec warriors...Or Shaka Zulu was a Chinese man!

@fadiiishaa exactly in the older versions Gwenhfyfwar was an amazing woman, queen, wife and mother. And I find it a shame that whenever the queen´s name of this legend comes up they think of the love triangle and affair. This is what I LOVE about Guinevere in this show. It does some justice to the queen who´s pride and dignity was ripped off her. If Gwen truly lived once she would probably prefer this version of her then those other versions.

Sits down on his thrown and .lets his knights do all of his work. Makes me think that NO wonder that Mordred defeated Arthur like that in the climax battle between them. And also I HATE the Arthur of the French version. He is a fucking hypocrite. I prefer this version he is in this at least honorable and the best warrior

THIS is THE scene that made me start watching this show! I swear guys! When Merlin came out, I didn't pay attention because I tought it was childish+pushed over the edge (Putting Merlin and Gwen as servants+casting a black Guinevere didn't help, since I was used too *blue eyed blond princesses*), but THIS KISS won me over, everything about it is perfect! The romanticism and the innocence of it pushed me to watch the rest of the episode, than the series in 1 month only! Now I can punch myself! :P

That was one of the most romantic scenes I've ever seen, in anything! Everything about it was so beautiful, the lighting, the music, and I love how gentle they were with each other. They both looked gorgeous.

the more i think about it, the more i think that there could not be a better soundtrack then this piece of music. what i personally love about this scene is not just the kissing part, but the little things before. In the beginning how he is stalling the moment. How she looks at 0:15 like she doesn't want him two go. His face at 0:25 like he is flattered that she gives him the token. and then her face after she gives the token. That shy/no big deal face. Watching these little things reminds me why i actually falled in love with them. I seriously LOVE them togethor.
gwen is such a sweet person and indeed, wise!! arthur is so-called 'a bit unintelligent' & merlin is genius....not to blame arthur as he is a spoiled son...he needs gwen and merlin's guide & three of them are the best allies
To be honest i have never cried because of a Kiss scene!! But by this scene. OMG the kiss, the light, the music and of course Bradley and Angel. ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL AND CORCEOUS!!! the more i think about it, the more i think that there could not be a better soundtrack then this piece of music. Brilliant. seriously brilliant. i always get tears in my eyes when i hear this piece of work. it's so so so EPIC> the kiss is also EPIC and the fact that WHO are excatly kissing each other, THE FUTURE KING&QUEEN OF CAMELOT, makes it more EPIC. and the fact that they are LEGENDARRY. makes it even MORE EPIC. okay could there be more EPICNESS in ONE couple? LOL

what i personally love about this scene is not just the kissing part, but the little things before. In the beginning how he is stalling the moment. How she looks at 0:15 like she doesn't want him two go. His face at 0:25 like he is flattered that she gives him the token. and then her face after she gives the token. That shy/no big deal face. Watching these little things reminds me why i actually falled in love with them. I seriously LOVE them togethor.

To be honest i have never cried because of a Kiss scene!! But by this scene. OMG the kiss, the light, the music and of course Bradley and Angel. ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL AND CORCEOUS!!! And according to the trailer of episode 2x10 it seems that Guinevere is jealous. I have never been so happy to see someone beeing jealous!!!! hahahaha
