Apologies if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it, but what did you wrap the handle with? I'm going to order my M48 soon and was going to do a paracord wrap on the handle. This thing IS A BEAST. Also wanted to add that your comment about all the Nazis being in Poland was hilarious!!! Be well, my friend!!!!

You have to remember (ref 8:39 - 9:36) in tomahawk fighting you have the use of a hook to draw your opponent into your knife blade. Most tomahawks have that feature. See Cold Steel site.

The hook on the bottom of the ax face is for hooking an enemies neck by placing the handle against their neck and pulling it toward you. That point goes right into the cervical spine, the spinal cord and all the nerves. a hooking attack can also be used against the arms and legs like a sweep. This is a full on combat tomahawk! Great review!

Der Schnabel war an sehr effektiv um im Nahkampf einem Ritter den Helm zu durchschlagen.

@freerunnin100 If you go backpacking in "Zombieland" it is definitely first choice;) For chopping firewood there are better hatchets out there - try a condor axe or a fiskars for example.

Looks like a nice tomahawk, almost exactly like the SOG Tomahawk, except for that great looking grind along the top. Does it come with the wrap on the handle, or did you do that?
