have you noticed every character in japanese anime (from design, behavior, and even voice) is so stereotyped? Glasses is a nerd with evil intentions, big breasted women have a high pitched voice and are ditzy...my god I don't want to see such stereotypes on a dub. That's actually a huge hallmark of dubs. Not every character is stereotyped and there is diversity in voice acting

Most of the time it's not the voice actors. It's the people that translate the script and since most voice actors haven't seen the anime before they have no clue.
