  • IT'S TWILIGHT SPARKLE!

  • This commerical has been bronyfied. Be afraid

  • Photobomb level = ponies

  • This advert says @Hasbro which explains why there's a Pony right freaking there ;3

  • Actually, did you know? Chevy now makes model cars . Now, you buy chevy cars from the Chevy shop, ull get a free model of it

  • Seeing Twilight Sparkle was epic. Seeing Lara Croft... mind = blown. That kid's father is a legend.

  • "Like father, like son."

I can't help but think Twilight was placed there for a reason.

  • 1. Buy Chevy, just because of Pony.

    2. Buy Pony.

    3.????

    4. Profit!

  • Nopony cares about Chevy. We just care about ponies.

  • thumbs up if u came here for the pony

  • Father walks in the house: "My little pony la la la la la la My little..." *See son playing with ponies*... "I taught you well son..."

  • TWILIGHT BUCKING SPARKLES!

  • 0:18 PONNNNYYYYYYYYYYY

  • oh man what a heart-warming commercial ! American commercial for the most part are so much better than what we get on TV here in germany.

  • LOVE THIS ONE!!!! i nearly cried haahaha

  • Linkin logs. Cool.

  • Kids a Brrony in the makeing.

  • Great video. Does anyone know the name of the song in the latest "chevy runs deep" commercial from 2012? Thank you so much.

  • @Jannsmith - I now know the name of the song in the newest commercial for Chevy which is "We Are Young" by Fun. Just an fyi for anyone :)

  • I love how both of the top comments are all "Yeah progressiveness! Gender roles suck!"

And then it's a fucking commercial for a truck that does nothing to advertise the truck beyond "THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE YOU SHOULD BUY IT"

  • I was waiting for Lara Croft to come out at the end..

  • That little boy is so adorable!

  • Thumbs up for Pony

  • Yap chevy runs deep. I got my dads old chevy now im going to pass it on to my son one day.

  • hey i got my dads old corvette and got to drive his silverado- but his first car was a impala and he got me one for my first car, i love driving the car. And it will be the same way when i have a son.

  • R.I.P Dad. Now I drive your chevy, It's true. Like father, like son. Sleep well.

  • @ptbash69 - I am so sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I'm sure that your father is watching over you from up above :)

  • @Jannsmith Thank you, means a lot.

  • @ptbash69 - You're quite welcome.

  • My thoughts during: "Why do kids always have to make messes? Hey that's a normal looking guy toy. I bet the dad will look like that. Oh it has some normal toys in there too. Why does he have girl toys? Hey! It's My Little Pony! Yep, same truck. I like how little kids always get so excited when their parents get home. I wonder if anyone will ever get that excited to see me... He looks nothing like the toy man. WHY AM I TEARING UP!?!? I hate this commercial... That was so good, I gotta share it"

  • OK, so I hate this commercial because I hate how it's appealing to a sort of stereotypical father-son relationship for disgusting commercial reasons, but come on people. Thus isn't about some kid being "gay" and playing with dolls. I would assume the kid has a sister and he was combining their stuff for his playtime. I don't think young boys playing with dolls makes you gay either (and it's not wrong for someone to be gay in the first place, so chill).

  • i came here for the my little pony.. xD

  • Lara Croft is smokin' hot and this is bad for boys how?

  • @LittleDucksBigDreams When I saw this on TV, they blurred her out. BTW I hope you like reboots, because just wait until you get your hands on the next Tomb Raider.

  • This kid is too young to enjoy Tomb Raider. He does have good taste in equine toys though.

  • @johnduded In the 90's, when I was in elementary school, my friends were already into that game.

  • The ignorance in these comments. A toy is a fucking toy! Any item is basically an item that anyone (no matter gender/race/sexuality etc) can use. People are so brainwashed by advertising and society it's embarrassing...

  • its twlight !

  • reminds me of when my brother and i played together

  • My dog acts the same way when I get home.

  • If I Ever Need To Pull A Space Shuttle, I Would Get The Silverado

  • 0:19 for pony!!

  • @Skittles075 I'm not saying boys can't play with dolls. It's just a commercial and you don't see a lot parents buying their sons dolls and dollhouses. And if I offended you, in anyway, that was not my attention. I was just making an observation.

  • I like this commercial! The one thing I don't like about it is the women playing the damsels in distress, but it is a boy playing with the toys. The major reason I like this commercial is because it features a boy playing with dolls, unfortunately it fails to kill all stereotypes.

  • and I have a son, I don't teach him those VERY DAMAGING OLD SCHOOL VALUES! BEGINNING, MIDDLE, AND END OF STORY.

  • I really am absolutely amazed on how this commercial is sooo male biased. From fathers to sons...showing a very traditionalist way of life where once again females are in the supporting role. Boys, men running the show. Damn have we really gone back to this 50's mentality??? We have lots of work to do out there ladies!!!

  • The real question, is what Lara Croft is doing in there?

  • Participation in Microsoft Chevy contest was quite easy but crossing more then 10000 contestants and reaching on 10th position in a week’s time was a real challenge for me. But now moving ahead is really tough and quite difficult for me.

Anyways…, I count this as an achievement and appreciate my efforts. Reaching on No. 1 in this contest is my dream….and I’m trying for that. Please help me by clicking above link and giving your vote.

  • Good One!

  • Hmm a kid with blond hair blue eyes and light skin. This reminds me of the 60s even though i wasn't even born yet :O

  • Only thing I noticed about the commercial is where is the daughter. At the end the mom and the son comes out but wheres the daughter that plays with the pink dolls and the big doll house?

  • @musiclver05 Why can't the boy play with the dolls and the doll house?

  • Where did he get that Toy truck at?

  • So progressive. Love it!

  • Chevy definitely runs deep.

  • Love this video...

  • I noticed the TV version cut out the close up view of the "Lara Croft" hot mommy shot.

The way this commercial should of went was that exact hot mom version of the doll getting out of the car with Dad at the end, then most men would be test driving tomorrow....

  • Its a truck commercial you idiots. Why the heck do you have to analyze the kids physiological state. You're whats wrong with the world. Great commercial !!!

  • What the hell is wrong with that kid? Boys don't play house, not alone at least.

When little boys play with cars, those cars fly

When little boys play with dolls, those dolls generally break through walls and stuff

I'm pretty sure this kid will grow socially akward emo kid that cuts himself. He will drive that Chevy off a bridge.

  • @Varjensag You are disgusting. There is no right or wrong way to play. And the idea that he's going to be "emo" or cut himself when he's older based on the way he's playing with his toys is ridiculous. People like you need help.

  • @Varjensag Wow; I sure hope you're not an adult making an asinine statement like this. He'll probably grow up better adjusted than you give him or his parents credit. I liked the little town he built; maybe he'll grow up to be a civil engineer or a city planner.

  • Why does this boy have dolls?? I grew up in a "safe, healthy, environment" and still... never asked my mom for a Bratz doll and a Barbie house.

  • @juanrcr42 lol

  • @juanrcr42 Because all humans are social, not just females? What does gender have to do with roleplay? Anyone can roleplay with dolls!

  • @juanrcr42 That's probably because you were raised in a gender conforming home and you believe that "boys" shouldn't play with "girl" toys and vice versa.

  • @LittleMissMiseryy I was raised by women, Grandma, mom, and aunts.... no dad. I grew up in a home were women taught me everything, yet still... along with every single boy I knew in my childhood, didnt play with dolls. I guess I lived in a terrible neighborhood then. Shut up

  • @juanrcr42 Not everyone is like you; get over it.

  • This kid makes honestly great impersonations and even does the turbo noise of the diesel truck. This kid will get many bitches in 10 years. 5 stars.

  • i think that this commercial is the best one ive ever seen one because of the silverado and two because it says a lot more than just chevy silverados being good trucks

  • He is by far one of the cutest kids I've ever seen :3

  • does anyone know the song?

  • I love how I came here just to see that pony.

  • drive chevy's play with dolls

  • 0:17 the best part of the commercial. ooo slank you...so cute!!

  • I absolutely LOVE this ad. I love that it is not adhering to gender stereotypes -- especially in such a "manly" advertising space such as this one. Thank you Chevy!

  • Congratulations on this fabulous ad, Chevy. Absolutely love it.

  • BLYTHE!!!

  • No one bothered to notice Lara Croft. Yet, they bitch so much assuming the kid's a brony.

  • I have a toy like this. I have a 2009 chevy truck that's red. If you want to find one, go to amazon and type in 1:16 silverado.(it's not HD)

  • This commercial is sooooooo adorable! I love the boy! He's like a little Hunter Hayes except this boy has blue eyes instead or brown. <3

  • He is so freakin adorable! Does anyone know what his name is? I think he is also in the McDonalds hope commercial

  • IT'S THE KID FROM KINDERGARDEN COP!!!! QUICK! Somebody call Mr. Kimble!

  • @PapomanResurrect That's what I said- Who is that little boy?

  • that kid is so freaking adorable!! his face at 0:52 is just precious!! and nice Lara Croft doll! :D

  • He's a brony. TROLOLOLOLO!!!!!

  • Heh. I never pay attention to this commercial when it's on tv until the cute ending, but someone on an MLP forum pointed out Twilight Sparkle, so I had to watch it again. That's funny and cute they put her in there. I'll have to watch for it again and then scream "THERE'S A PONY!!!!!" :p Hah, not really. Well...maybe. :)

  • Baseball, Applejack & Chevrolet!

  • @ 0:42 THAT IS FUCKIN LARA CROFT.

i thought i loved chevy before, loyal for life now.

  • Rick Perry at 0:04 !! :)

  • @joebangles100, What's wrong with you? Are you so insecure with your sexuality that you can't even play with a toy? -_-

  • @Chimera1591 Just askin'.

  • @joebangles100 You are clearly beyond insecure about your own sexuality. #sadthing

  • Where can I get that Silverado toy??

  • Saw this on TV and wasn't really paying attention and then all of a sudden I saw Twilight Sparkle and her little Elements of Harmony tiara! Yay! :D

  • That kid must have a hot mom to use Lara croft as the mom

  • Poor Chevy... getting attacked by bronies....

  • Comment removed

  • Ponies run deep.

  • 0:18

    TWILIGHT SPARKLE

  • Watching TV, not really paying attention... PONY!!!

  • I want that Silverado HD Model!

  • Feminists are destroying our society!

  • Hegelian Dialectic of bringing about change in a three-step process: Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis.

The first step (thesis) is to create a problem. The second step (antithesis) is to generate opposition to the problem. The third step (synthesis) is to offer the solution to the problem created by step one: A change which would have been impossible to impose upon the people without the proper psychological conditioning achieved in stages one and two.Now its ok for boys to play with doll houses

  • @Iamverycoolism Well as long as its under the guise of a heterosexual family structure. That's just a stepping stone and I assure you the envelop will be pushed further.

  • CHEVY.... Makes your kid play with dolls!

    '

    FORD>chevy

  • Ponies!!!

  • twilight sparkle mind=blown

  • Great Commercial! brings back memories of my childhood. Also.. TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!! :D

  • Twilight Sparkle!!! :D

  • To add...the boy is obviously happy playing with his many toys, but what he is happiest about is his daddy coming home...his parents are happy to provide him with toys to enjoy, but they obviously provide him with love as well.

  • This child is obviously growing up in a safe, healthy, environment...he's not being told that some toys are "boy's" and some are "girls"...he's pretending to be a working man with a truck that hauls wood, barrels, helps out ladies who need help, and does it all despite rocky or hilly roads...then, at the end of the day he comes home to a loving wife...when dad comes home, he rushes out to greet him...parents, take note...this child will grow up to be a successful man

  • @MrRevphil except this is a damned comercial. It is all staged, and the kid is an actor.

  • @MrRevphil Well said!

  • All four door handles have broken, windows won't work, dashboard broke, yokes under the truck got replaced 3 times. These are only a few things that have gone wrong with my silverado. I traded it in for a Toyota yesterday. It doesn't drive the same, but i had to go with something that is dependable. I am very dissapointed with Chevy!!!!!

  • Welcome to the new age of the weak dumb gay man. They do it all the time on T.V. shows, the husbands are always dumb. Now they are turning little boys into girls. Don't forgot those they will be teaching Gay stuff in Kalifornia schools soon. I don't see the daughter at the end of the commercial or in the background. So it is implied that this little boy's parent also bought him girls toys.

  • @SkunkWorks619 Your comments are so true. On television they insult everyone, but if someone insults a gay person they are attacked by everyone.

  • @MrRedskins0021 How is this an insult to non-gay people? Please, enlighten me.

  • @SkunkWorks619 And your Rick Perry

  • @moneyworks64

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

you loser calling anybody "rick perry" over the internet or even to there face doesn't matter to me or any other name. your liberal progressive name calling don't do crap to me.

The new voice of the 99%, multimillionaire rapper jay-z said " get that dirt off your shoulder" or "99 problems but your rick perry name calling isn't one". peace!!!!!!!!

and i didn't call you one name

    seriously "rick perry"?????????????????????

  • @SkunkWorks619 First off I'm not a liberal or progressive, I've been working with the Republican party for the last 3 years after Obama was elected.

And the Occupy Bullshit is a fucking joke as you said.

I am sorry for calling you Rick Perry, It was uncalled for.

  • @moneyworks64

all good then . yeah deport all progressives to a communist country where they can all be EQUAL . equally poor and enslaved to a communist government.

  • @SkunkWorks619 I think it can solved by educating them on the failure of there philosophy, we can't deport them all though that would cost to much money.

  • @SkunkWorks619 Never mind the fact that the kid was acting out a straight family with said "girls toys".

  • @SkunkWorks619 Are you even serious? What are we in-the 1950's? Why do we have to FORCE people to identify with what SHOULD be based on pre-made societal expectations? This commercial is awesome. Why? He is still a total boy while infusing girl's toys into his play in the most innocent & inclusive way ever. Feeble-minded men who believe that only a woman should cook and clean & men should do the heavy-lifting, are ones that clearly questioning their own sexuality/masculinity.

  • @sjukate Women should do the cooking and cleaning. I'm not feeble minded either. You know women, they will go out and screw anything - just to "go out" .

  • @SkunkWorks619 What the hell does roleplaying have to do with being female or being attracted to the same gender? All humans are social creatures, male or female, straight, gay, bisexual, transgender. If all males never learned any social or life skills how would our species get by? There's nothing wrong with male children roleplaying with dolls! It has nothing at all do with a biological gender or who someone will grow up to love!

  • LOVE IT. Best truck ad in years.

  • Lol, was just watchin tv and sow twilight, and was like "Wow, now that's a coll kid."

  • This commercial needs more Rarity.

  • now i can afford that little toy silverado! where can i get me one! lol

  • A typical Chevy man's son. Playing with girls toys.

  • Disgustingly pitiful! A boy with a doy house, a pink trailer, and a girl doll? Chevrolet/GM drank the politically correct kool aid and is Obama's puppet since the bailout.

  • @tjcnavl

Get this boy a Traxxas remote control truck

  • @tjcnavl You are stuck in the 1950's. Get out of it.

  • pffftt....playing with dolls... typical chevy move

  • I just saw this commercial and wasn't sure if i saw ponies or not. Not even paying attention to the car. Had to Youtube it...

  • @fxtrader92 can't tell if trolling...

  • I think it's despicable that Hollywood continues the foist that homosexual crap on us. It's truly disgusting that they would have a boy playing with dolls.

  • @fxtrader92 How is he a homosexual? He is clearly a total boy who merely used the female toys to serve in a HETEROSEXUAL toy family. Get out of your feeble-minded 1950's mindset and be more secure with your masculinity. Pre-made societal expectations are for people who can't think for themselves.

  • @fxtrader92 What does roleplaying have to do with being gay? I think heterosexism is despicable and disgusting, not a child roleplaying for fun and learning important social and life skills in the process. Is your idea of a man an anti-social being who lacks life skills and just sits around watching football and grunting??

  • @fxtrader92 How do you know this boy is gay? I played with typical boy toys (cars, trucks, legos, erector sets, guns, swords, sports) and I'm gay. I have a friend who played with his sister's dolls, by himself, and he's straight. Try that again.

  • And I thought I was the only one who spotted her. XD

  • @OATHEX5

I would also like one of those toy trucks for my son.. Can't seem to find it either... Anyone know where to buy one?

  • im here because ponies

  • ......it's 2011 and we're STILL arguing over "boy toys" vs. "girl toys"?

That's just sad. Just let the kids play with whatever they want.

  • 0:36

Dog: Excuse me Im resting here. Trying to be lazy and you're ruining it. Thank you.

  • Twilight Sparkle...hay yeah.

  • I like how most people who come here are bronies over 1 second of Twilight Sparkle xD

  • @MrAntonLebedev true
