I just stumbled unto this looking for train videos for my grandson and I got say that I am so impressed and envious. Nice work! I really enjoyed it thanks for sharing.
What's the radius of the curves on the helix, and have you ever considered connecting any of the various levels of your layout? (I looked at a few of your other videos)
The track is 0-42 (Diameter) on the inside loop, and 0-54 on the outside. I originally had ALL loops tied together. By the time I got done, I could only run a few trains unattended and had some pretty bad grades. I decided instead to have lots of unconnected loops so I could run more trains at the same time
