1) Learn the words. It's a pretty basic concept.

2) Focus more on the song and less on the slutty dancing

3) Making the song your own is good, but they took WAY too many liberties with this. It's a song from a broadway musical, not something that a crappy boyband puked up and then fed to the public.

4) Take some basic voice lessons. Though even then, there may be little hope.
