All of these comments are a joke so far, as is this guy. He is "going to do 10 reps each" (4 exercises), until he gets to pullups and CAN'T do 10 reps LOL.... then it cuts down to 8 reps. Secondly, you're form is so horrible that there is barely NO activation of the lats at all! LEARN WHAT YOU ARE DOING before you post on YouTube tard.
As far as comments go, circuits are 100% effective for what they're meant for. You don't have to train like a bodybuilder if you don't want to BE one. Turd.
If you're skeptical as to whether or not this workout can build strength, see my comments below, they explain the theme behind this kinda work, after you do that, try this workout, you'll be surprised at how sore you get, the amount of time you save, and how strong you will keep getting ;)
my rep range is between 8 and 12, ever heard of cross fit? it may not be mass building, but definitely strength training. Ever heard of cross fit? It's huge out here in SoCal. I've got my masters in kinesiology with emphasis on performance training. Thanks for the input though dude! This would only be considered endurance training for someone without the cardiovascular capacity to handle that kinda intensity. Once you get used to it, the endurance/strength curve shifts more toward strength.
I used lighter weight cause the people downstairs complain if the weights bang on the ground too hard. But like I said, you if keep the rep range around 10RM it's strength building. You learn that pretty much first day in program design class, it doesn't matter what you do in between because my rest interval coincides with the proper period for the rep range when I get back to the same corresponding movement. I love debating fitness. It's definitely a science that I love educating people on. ;)
dude keep this up and you will only end up cut, but I would be careful about calling this strength building. It's more cardio/resistance/endurance what you are doing.
