  • Ohhhhh, he's just too much..I can't stand it.

  • OMG! It doesn't get any better than this - Colin Firth speaking Italian. I feel just like Jamie Lee Curtis in "A Fish Called Wanda". I too, like "babybio123", am so pleased of my school girl Italian classes plus my current ones in anticpation of a trip to Italy. His teacher has done a very good job (thanks Livia). Colin Firth e un vero e proprio pensiero donna uomo!

  • @dream2bmrscolinfirth you know what, I'm Italian, and I am feeling so proud of actor or personalities like him, who still appreciate our language and culture--italian's much more difficult than english-- he handled it perfectly

  • And rightly so that you should feel so very proud. Your country is rich in so many things like culture, language, food, history, architecture, scenery, people ... To have an ambassador such as Colin Firth adds to your wealth. Consider yourselves privileged to have such an honourable man associated with your beautiful country.

  • @clois95 And so you should feel proud to be Italian. Italy is so rich in culture, language, history, architecture, food, scenery, people ... To have Colin Firth as an ambassador for your country, you should feel very priviliged as he is such an honourable person.

  • Indeed I am, don't get me wrong, but he surprised me completely. He's such a great actor and person, I'm very flattered he leaned italian :) lol

  • btw, what did u mean by "Colin Firth e un vero e proprio pensiero donna uomo! " didn't catch the meaning..

  • mmmm,papi hermoso

  • I guess he has a good teacher at home ^^

  • yeah, his wife.. :) lol

  • Non solo parla l'italiano, ma ha anche un vocabolario forbito... non ho parole... WHAT A MAN!!!

  • He is delicious, and boy am I glad I took Italian lessons this last year!

  • I love him!!! He's a beautiful person and supporting Oxfam and less fortunate people he demonstrate it. He's so loveble when speak Italian!!!!!

  • brilliant Italian accent!!!!!

  • Colin, besides being a great artist is a GREAT MAN!

  • there is a theme in all the messages that I saw;it's this a need of justice,we are taught to keep our promises..and you?why not you?also promises that are so important,is not a random thing, that's a matter of life or death, and the amount of money are not so big since than they spend money on arms, banks, bridges..it'sjust simple questions of ethics that we teach to children, then this is the answer..unltill we don't keep our promises for the[the children]is not just wrong..is incomprehensible.

  • I tried... sorry for my bad English

  • OMG!!! He is so gorgeous! Please translate, someone! Italian is the sexiest language and here in the sexiest man!

  • Colin Firth, actor and Oxfam Global Ambasssador, was a member of the jury of the "great authors of Small pensier - G8: small to large write (earth) and honored the 16 finalists during the May 29 ceremony in Rome, at Villa Wolkonsky, residenza British Ambassador in Rome. This was his comment after the awards ceremony.

  • Thank you so much for translating. It is the same as he says in English. I love him for being so ethical and committed to social and politial causes. He is very honourable! xxx

  • @annie2shoes

    ;-)

  • @annie2shoes I am Italian so I guess my translation is very faithful PART 1: :

There's a topic in all the messages I saw and it's this sense of justice, very pure, that we have been taught to keep our promises and why not you? We promise even important things, it's not a random (casual) thing, this is an occasion of life or death and the amount of money is not that huge acutally, compared to what they spend for weapons, banks, bridges.

  • @annie2shoes PART 2: It's just a matter of ethics we taught to children. This is the answer when we don't keep our promises. For them is not just wrong, it's incomprehensible.

  • @clois95 Thank you so much!! I am very grateful..

  • I love it. He is just so sweet in talking italian. Love how he smiles in the end. Thanks for putting it up
