Wow Lohan is definitely trying way too hard here,it's like she's desperate to stand out amongst the other performers.It's pretty pathetic,she has no natural charisma and she is a mediocre singer at best.Kinda glad she's not really making movies anymore.

She's one of the few people on that stage who's actually staying in key and who can sing--if that's really her.  I think you're letting someone's tabloid personality shade your judgment here. Meryl Streep, on the other hand, should probably stick to doing accents. Her singing is kind of like her comedic roles: a little caricaturish and flat.

Some asked what Lilo was doing here. I'd say it was her finest hour and it all went downhill form there. On PHC - the movie was about the end to an era. I grew up listening by the fireplace to PHC on Saturday's and loved every minute of it. PHC is a staple of American culture and civility that has been moved over by flashy shows, exposed waists, and dangerously low IQ's. The fact that PHC still lives, is proof positive that America still has a chance to be that shining city on a hill.

Just FYI: Meryl Streep & Lily Tomlin play Yolanda & Rhonda Johnson, the last two of what was once a popular family country music act, whereas Lindsay Lohan plays Lola Johnson, Yolanda's daughter who writes poems about suicide but is not a singer. You may not like her voice, but Lindsay can sing.
