@passionfruits That's my personal choice because I feel like I get better coverage. If I put concealer on first, I feel like applying my foundation removes the concealer I just put on. :)
I use Dari Natural's Skin care products and so far I find it the best! Because it really works for my sensitive skin. Their products are made from unrefined shea butter, pure olive oil, castor oil, jojoba, calendula and chamomile. It feels amazing on the skin! They make all natural body washes, facial cleansers, lotions, creams and body butters. I love using their body lotion, especially after shaving, because that's the only brand that doesn't cause any irritation.
Thanks for the video! You learned me that I should put the concealer after I put the foundation on. I have the same dark lines under my eyes as you so...
Can you please please please do an everyday makeup tutorial including the eyes? Whenever I try to do makeup, it always seems a bit too much for me. I need some help! Please please please pretty please. Thanks.
what can i do about really dry flaky skin around my eyes? its also quite red around that area but it looks terrible with any concealer or foundation on that area x
@Iheartfashionify Are you using a moisturizer around your eyes? Maybe use a serum/facial oil, too. They are very gentle, extremely emollient, and hydrating. A serum with hyaluronic acid will help bring more moisture to that area.
Thanks for this video! I know it's been about a year since you did it, but it really helped me pick out the best brush for liquid foundation. Thanks a bunch!
FINALLY, someone who is telling us not to rub under our eyes. I see all these teen and 20 something 'gurus' vigorously rubbing under their eyes.... My grandmother told my mother and my mother told me... never rub, only pat under your eyes and you'll delay wrinkles... and it is true! My mother often gets mistaken for being 20 years younger. I'm really interested in more of your advice about skincare, including your vitamin regime and diet tips, your skin looks glowing... you've sold me.
Can you tell me the difference between applying liquid foundation with a stippling brush (like the MAC 187) or a foundation brush (like the MAC 190). I've just ordered the MAC 190 and I'm wondering if that will give me smooth application. Thanks :)
That foundation is very orange!! Ha it's driving me nuts lol. Maybe it's just the lighting? I don't know. anyway, I've been watching videos about stippling brushes and foundation because i'm getting a sonia kashuk highlighting/stippling brush tomorrow morning from Target! Yay!! But i wanted to know if it actually gives you the flawless airbrush look before i purchase it :) thanks!
Hi everyone I want to offer you the foundation that I use & it’s by far the best one I’ve ever tired & it isn’t as expensive as other good ones cost out there, I get it off this website: amway. com/VerasDomain & put either one of these item numbers in the search box at the top. The item number for dry skin (natural shade) is: 10-6146 & item number for oily or combination skin (natural shade): 10-6174
Very professional presentation, thanks...I have never been happy with my results at applying foundation, evern after 30 years of trying ;=). Maybe it's time I used the brush technique. I have a yellowish complexion and I find it difficult to NOT look too yellow/tanned with foundation even using the lightest 020 from Dior Forever and the 010 compact for on top. I still feel I look darker that I want :(
i have the palest skin and re hair and blue eyes, im looking for a foundation
( i have oily skin ) that wont give me a yellow/orange skin affect, i have acne but not bad acne sometimes it bad but i never have skin without 3 or 4 smal ones so if you could help any price range really i wont neccersally spend alot but knowing the best ones and affordble ones and the expensive oens would help

i love that you use the stippling brush more correctly. there are SO MANY gurus that say "and now i stipple *stipple stipple stipple... swirrrrrrl* the purpose of a stippling brush is not for swirling your foundation on. so thank you! thank you for being the only person i've seen use it correctly!
i still go for concealer first. i feel it blends easier and i end up needing less foundation.
@MsBinkies haha lol so true. completely agree here. most gurus are using it incorrectly. Same with lots of girls in general, and then they give it a bad review because it didn't give them that flawless finish.
this is a fabulous tutorial, very detailed and clear.
I know that i obviously dont know, but i think that your foundation may have too many yellow tones for your more red toned skin. Just an observation, great job!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The lighting definitely makes my skin look a lot more red/pink than it is in real life. The shade I used actually matches my skin pretty well! :)
red or nw shades will make redness worse b/c of the pink undertones. yellow toned foundation also helps to minimize redness.
i think it's bobbi brown that said yellow undertone foundations look best on like 97% of people. and that her foundations almost all have a yellow undertone. ( :
i want to know what color of foundation you use. If you can tell any other different foundations and its colors. I would appreciate it, since i have a similar skin tone ( i guess a bit lighter). And i love this video too!
Thank you!! I really appreciate that you are the only person (guru makeup artist) that answers my questions here in youtube. Don't change and keep your kindness and nice personality. I congratulate you for this!

@Dicte1778 You don't have to, but it helps to warm up the product and get a nice thin layer to stipple on your skin.
