@passionfruits That's my personal choice because I feel like I get better coverage. If I put concealer on first, I feel like applying my foundation removes the concealer I just put on. :)

I use Dari Natural's Skin care products and so far I find it the best! Because it really works for my sensitive skin. Their products are made from unrefined shea butter, pure olive oil, castor oil, jojoba, calendula and chamomile. It feels amazing on the skin! They make all natural body washes, facial cleansers, lotions, creams and body butters. I love using their body lotion, especially after shaving, because that's the only brand that doesn't cause any irritation.

@Iheartfashionify Are you using a moisturizer around your eyes? Maybe use a serum/facial oil, too. They are very gentle, extremely emollient, and hydrating. A serum with hyaluronic acid will help bring more moisture to that area.

FINALLY, someone who is telling us not to rub under our eyes. I see all these teen and 20 something 'gurus' vigorously rubbing under their eyes.... My grandmother told my mother and my mother told me... never rub, only pat under your eyes and you'll delay wrinkles... and it is true! My mother often gets mistaken for being 20 years younger. Very professional presentation, thanks...I have never been happy with my results at applying foundation, evern after 30 years of trying ;=). Maybe it's time I used the brush technique. I have a yellowish complexion and I find it difficult to NOT look too yellow/tanned with foundation even using the lightest 020 from Dior Forever and the 010 compact for on top.  I still feel I look darker that I want :(

i love that you use the stippling brush more correctly. there are SO MANY gurus that say "and now i stipple *stipple stipple stipple... swirrrrrrl* the purpose of a stippling brush is not for swirling your foundation on. so thank you! thank you for being the only person i've seen use it correctly!

i still go for concealer first. i feel it blends easier and i end up needing less foundation.

How long does the Diorskin foundation wear...before coming off? I was also wondering with your experience, it it better than mac foundations?

@knash2011  For me the DiorSkin lasted all day. I have never been a fan of MAC foundations, so in my opinion, it is much better!

I know that i obviously dont know, but i think that your foundation may have too many yellow tones for your more red toned skin. Just an observation, great job!

red or nw shades will make redness worse b/c of the pink undertones. yellow toned foundation also helps to minimize redness.

i think it's bobbi brown that said yellow undertone foundations look best on like 97% of people. and that her foundations almost all have a yellow undertone. ( :
