Amen, nice. Funny how infatuated people are with it that they ignore the truth and say such stupid things like Jachra4 and Twilighter, who's name proves he/she idolizes it. I was not saved when I read these books and I ate them up. A few months later, Jesus Christ saved me. I then saw these books for what they are--a powerful demonic deception. Vampires, eternal dead, etc. There is NO eternal life outside of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, period. Satan always has a mimic of the truth. Vamps living forever, being bright sparkly light, blood giving strength and renewal, Edward's ability to perceive thoughts. This is Satan's demonic mimic for the youth.

I could say sooo many things about this crap, but I just want to rant about the dream for a second. Do you have any idea how many authors get ideas from dreams? And not just authors; a whole freakin' lot of people have dream diaries that they write in as soon as the wake up and record what they just dreamed. You make it sound like she thinks she was inspired by God to write these books.

One of our adults in church who runs the projector and DVD player and is one of the main leaders of evangelizing in our church posted a quote, or perhaps an original saying, on how Christians are accepting blasphemous Satanic stuff like Twilight. No Christian should. Our youth group is named "Alien Youth" for that verse and Skillet's song.

Just because the Left Behind series isn't selling well doesn't mean you have to take it out on other successful book series. I'm a Christian, and a Twi-hard, and a Harry Potter fan. If fact, there are much darker vampire novels out, mostly by Anne Rice, that make the Twilight Saga look like an after-school special.

P.S.: I'm I guy, meaning Twilight has male fans as well.  My best friend is a fan of the books as well.

I don't really like the movie. I like your theories, but I don't know what to think of Twilight anymore. I respect you sir, your intentions are good. I am a christian and a Twi-hard. if you read the book it is based on temptation and choices. my mom is a devoted christian and she loved the movie. the book has religious value in it including the vampires that you claim are "immoral". if Stephenie Meyer was trying to plague young Christian minds than it wouldn't be a romance novel and Edward would have killed Bella in the first part of the book. And lets get this straight the twilght saga promotes celibacy until marriage.

There is a huge eternal difference between a "Biblical Christian" and a "Cultural Christian". If you understood the WORD of God as directed in the ancient Scriptures, then you would be a Biblical Christian. You would reject pagan practices and withcraft. First of all, its evident you have never even read any of the Twilight books. Edward strays from having sex with Bella not out of fear of drinking her blood, though that's a major concern. But many of his values are antiquated for he's over a hundred years old and during the time he was born, premarital sex was taboo. I agree with this guy, however I have heard a pastor say that there is somewhat of a reformation of people who desire truth and historical christianity and I agree with him because I have seen alot of Christian churches turn to historical doctrine and many people have turned from the truth. Remmber 2Timothy chapter 4, many people wont be able to endure sound doctrine.

Thank you brother for the video. I briefly encountered this book at wallmart over christmas. It is absorbing the youth at at alarming rate. You are the first to talk about it here that I know. I hope there will be many more. Also many church youth pastors subscribe to the emergent church philosophies . I 'm certain they would create teachings centered around this book.
