  • @ichibang15549 if Thai people think Bokator is Kung Fu then they are just silly. it would take you less than three minutes to fin a kung fu video on youtube and compare it to Bokator. they are NOTHING alike.

  • @ichibang15549 You really need to work on your English but what I said is clear from the video and in no reasonable estimation is Bokator a clone of kung fu. surely with all the hours you spend on line, rather than training, you must have seen a kung fu video or movie. kung Fu looks nothing like bokator.

  • im khmer my grandpa taught me everything

  • Awesome adventure and experience. I recommend that you also do a research on european martial arts, especially on pankration (Παγκράτειον in greek) one of the most ancient martial arts and the first mixed martial art in history of man kind. It was invented by Greeks and it took part in the ancient olympics games, but also to the greek war fighting techniques. It helped Alexander the Great reach until India, where its believed that people adopted it and created the asian martial arts.

  • Lol those kung fuu cambos are chinese born cambodians they wont tell you where to go.. since the rivalities

  • sorry i dont understand what you are saying here. are you saying kung fu practicioners in cambodia are sino-khmers? and then waht was the next part "they wont tell you where to go" i dont know what you mean. please write it again in standard english.

  • I think what he is saying is that those guys doing the Kung Fu in your video are actually Chinese people born in Cambodia and they won't tell you where to go find Bokator because Bokator and Kung Fu are rivals. That's what I think he's saying.

  • Hey Antonio i saw the article about your movie on khmer bird.. i really want to see the bokator movie!!! and yeaah congrats on what youv done.. thats awesome you got to learn all these different culture things and even speak the languages!!!

  • Thanks for the video. I have alot respect for you and for your hard work. Alot of people should look up to you

  • WOW!!! How old were you when you started your training???

  • I was about 12 when i started training. i am 42 now. the bokator story starts when i am about 36 and ends just after my 40th birthday. i turned 40 during the last week of filming in cambodia and then i left. i went back this year and did a new martial arts odyssey series on bokator.

  • man thats an awesome adventure

  • antonio, ure a legend. keep up the good work!

  • i lived in cambodia for 6 months myself, and also taught english and pursue in kikboxing. i love ure work!

  • oh i see the fun dude here

  • great experience antonio, hats off. You might want to look into Tomoi too, it was develop between the ancient Boran and Malaysian ancient arts. I heard it's pretty deadly. It has the elements of Bokkator too. Great job, don't worry too much about the other mindless comments. They probably get their info from movies and gym trainers.

  • i just did some tomoi in malaysia and i loved it and will be going back to do more with kru jak.

  • How much money did you make from that movie with A.Pootong?

  • i made nothing. just did it for fun.

  • Wow! They should pay you something!

  • Wow. Quite an adventure.

  • bokator is better.

  • witch one is better muay boran or bokator?

  • is it better then ong bak?

  • ikhmer claim a lot thing belong to them but they never give credit to india most the shit asian have came from india. khmer always want to be known and popular but they cant so they have so much hate for the one that succeed the thais. since thier simular but one known one not.

  • kalari payatu, the indian martial art is probably the oldest martial art in the world. buddhism also came from india to china. it came from sri lanka to cambodia but from india to sri lanka. so yes, india is the source of a lot of important things

  • shit man ur fuk off! Thais are thief by birth! no other nationalities like thai! cuz they are trouble maker! They try to steal every heritage and cultural archievement from Cambodia! Cambodians are straight in mind and creative! Unlike ur fuk Off Dick head Thai!

  • not sure if this angry was post was meant for me, but there was no mention of thailand in my post. what i said is true, the Buddhist religion originated in india, then went to sri lanka and from srilanka to cambodia. but you are right, after that, the tahis raided cambodia and took a lot of the old masters and old culture to thailand.

  • what a strange thing to say. i never claimed i invented bokator, muay chaiya doesnt have any ground fighting, so it cant be a complete system. i have done tons of research and written a number of books. are you in thailand? perhaps we could meet and discus it.

  • actually i have done a number of videos promoting hai martial arts. i noticed on your channel you havent done any. why are you so ashamed of you culture?

  • funasdog: i really love you.

i did a vieo on muay thai chaiya, actually two for more show and two for another show. it is not a complete system as it has no gorund fighting. but the kicks are great. i do my research. in fact i am writing this email from malaysia where i am fighting this.

  • u idiot funasdog! U IDIOT!

  • khmer lauguage is part indian. we speak khmer lauguage every word is sankrit, khmer, buddha darma word all in one at the same time. remember our origin came from the naga demension and a indian prince also indian religiion. naga is and indiain religion.

  • GREAT STUFF MY LONG DISTANCE FRIEND.

  • Man, i wanna do Bokator soo bad!

  • @CwalkaJay aha ur a khmer c walk me too!!
