They got a 3.9 because they had two new champions at nwo. Guess what happened afterwards, the ratings kept going down. You have to understand that wwe will draw more during 'mania time but will suck afterwards. WWE could have had a great 'mania, even better than the one they had. Where was evan, swagger, and why was the tag title match not televised, so kid rock could suck. Raw could have great shows but they don't, we could have great fueds and matches but we don't because they don't bring it!

Ratings for raw couuld be really high all the time, even before the playoffs started their ratings were basically aroun 3.4 and 3.5. And with hhh out as well as michaels the odds of their rating going down will likely continue. Matter of fact, all the shows for the wwe have had a major loss in viewers. At least tna is growing, slowing sure but at least their growing.
WWE superstars is only a one hour show. They havent even been on for a month or a little over now. The new ecw is also only a one hour show. And we all now its not the original. Plus that show is mainly for developmental wrestlers. TNA might be growing but tna is beating a one hour developmental show and a brand new one hour show. Until (if ever) 2 hour tna can become comp to raw or smackdown, 1.1-1.3 is nothing to a wwe 3.4 or higher
Their one hour shows with a lot of exposier. TNA isn't as well know as wwe. RAW has been around for 16 years, smackdown for ten, and Impact for seven. Smackdown doesn't get ratings much higher than impact. Lets also not forget superstars has huge stars appear every now and then like taker, edge, hardy, jericho and more. ECW has christian and bourne, and the same amount of people who know about raw and smackdown know about ecw but they don't watch it because it sucks. Not many poeple know of tna.
Smackdown switched stations and everybody doesnt get my network. Evan bourne is mainly an indy wrestler. So if you have an indy wrestler (or some) doesnt mean you get high ratings. And once again the new ecw is a developmental show for new talent so dont expect big ratings. TNA has foley, nash, angle, booker t sting etc... and with all that they should get higher then 1.0-1.3
Smackdown switching stations means nothing because they got nearly 3.0's when they first made the switch. People are simply losing interest in the show. Evan is a phenomenal wrestler who captures the attention of fans of all ages. He is one of the best workers in the company, and all of his matches are entertaining. Let's not forget that ecw may be a development show but it is still apart of the wwe with its own roster of great talent, and it gets exposure, much more than tna impact does.
tna has had commercials on wwe tv before. And jim cornett had a big role in the monday night wars DVD. He is with tna and he knows why wcw went down to wwe. He should be makin tna and better company then what they are and should be getting way better ratings then what there getting. That might not be as known as wwe, but they have sting mck angle nash scott etc... With those people should give them better ratings
Not necessarily, even though they have big names it means nothing when nobody knows about you. WCW was so successful back in the 90's because they had money and exposure, tna doesn't so not many peple know that steiner, nash, angle, sting, and booker are even there. When they get exposure the ratings will rise, you will see.
People have chanted tna plenty of times during wwe shows. It is pretty hard if you are a wrestling fan and tna has been around for 7 or 8 years now and you never heard of them
Those are the tna fans themselves chanting. Not really hard, most fans don't care for wrestling anymore so they don't tune is as much as they used to. I'm one of them. I watch impact but if those fans who don't watch as much as they used are going to watch wrestling it will probably be raw. Meaning they probably will never know what tna is, and the young fans have an even greater chance of not knowing.
I know some people who watch wrestling and everybody isnt into tna just like some arent into wwe. But on a different note, if tna wants to be different from wwe, i think they should stop doing the stone cold steve austins whats or last time i seen tna with that foley backstage angle, you could hear all the fans chanting hardy for jeff hardy being the mysterey person mick had on the phone. If they want to be different, dont do everything wwe does
They sure do have to get away from the wwe style of things because if they try to be the wwe the people will choose the wwe itself to watch over tna. TNA in the beginning was a very different product then what it is today. They just had joe, styles, jarrett, abyss, and killings as the top guys, now you have the m.e.m and mick foley, things have really changed.

RAW is atleast watchable. Impact is the worst wrestling show on TV. Im watching right now and they had 1 match in the first hour, and that ended with a run in. Then next 40 minutes were nothing but non-wrestling segments...

Alot of em, Summerslam wasnt half bad, Taker vs Edge in Hell in a Cell, and Cena vs Batista was better than anyone expected....Unforgiven was really good, No Mercy had the Jericho vs HBK ladder match, And Cena returning at the Royal Rumble was something NO ONE expected and even Smart Mark fans were cheering for cena....and how was jeff hardy not unexpected? A guy with 2 strikes to his name, winning the major title...It was definately more unexpected then Samoa Joe winning his world title.
No way in hell would a Smark person cheer for Cena. I saw the PPV i heard some boos. Jeff was so expected come on. He's been in the business for like 10 years and now that they marketed even more and being the only face on smackdown to hand it too made it obvious. And all those PPV's you mentioned weren't as a whole you just mentioned a main event. I won't pay 50$ for 1 or 2 matches. I agree with a lot of stuff on this video also will FoolKiller99's video (look him up). I can't comment on WWE since I don't watch it but as for TNA, I would say that it is getting better.
Pro wrestling fans, actually want to mark out for a wrestler or an angle. I can say that I did that twice this year, one for Joe winning the title and the other for Angle saying stuff about Jarrett's late wife.
I want to get worked up more often but TNA don't emotionally involve the fans enough.
TNA should build there company more like MMA, your totally right. I mean, look at Lockdown (Joe/Angle), that was there highest buyrate last year, because the build up intensity was awesome. Although it was really predictable I had feelings for Joe to win the title and felt he really deserved it. TNA should be more like that, to an extent where I can actually get into the feuds.

Sting needs to retire! I cant buy the fact that he takes 6 months off and comes back and wins the title. Yes sting is a legend but i dont want to see a champion that only wrestles tag matches 6 man matches and claims to be a champion.Guys like Styles Joe and Angle are the ones who should be on top. Sting didn't display his mic skills from late 1996 till June 1998 (Crow gimmick) when he joined the Wolfpac. His mic skills came out when he returned in 1999 pretty much disbanding his "Crow" gimmick.
if WM ever does come to texas then screw h-town they need to come to the knew cowboys stadium and i know these guys live in conroe which is an hour or a bit less away from houston but i know these guys wouldnt mind taking a few hours drive to the dallas/fort worth area.

No offense but I hope. WM 20 was okay, but when I saw WM 24, it was like a regular show and I was not impressed. WM 25 should spice it up, and I hope Vince Mcmahon realizes that he needs to put WWE fans first and marketing second.
Yea, bought WM 20 on DVD the other week, and some matches were awesome, like cage v jericho, and the main event was awesome. The crowd weren't into it at all, which is unlike MSG. I hope too...im travelling all the way from England to goto WM25!

I think the crowd wasn't into WM20 very much because it was like a 5 hour event (6 plus when you consider dark matches) I hope the WWE doesn't EVER do that again, simply because they wore the crowd out.

Idk dude. I like the M.E.M. vs. the Frontline storyline, because it's a good, new way to bring those "newbies" up to the superstar status of the legends. I don't think there is a better way, it is either that or just keep it going w/ the same old superstars like WWE.
also why is jarrett delaying the angle/jarrett feud, by putting in a dumb match like Rhino vs. Angle with repetitive stipulations like "if Angle wins he gets rematch with Jarrett." couldn't we just have a jarrett vs. angle match and put rhino against someone else? only good thing is that curry man has a chance to get fired, and come back as Christopher Daniels again at the next PPV.

Doug your slightly right.. The reason why they try to blind us from teh exsposed business is cause they dont want it getting so out of control... like exsposing to much might get old.. I remember the HBK HHH thing on Byte this.. hell i remember them doing that with JBL v.s Batisita, before the show ended and that was a good hype.. TNA needs to do something similar, i dont think they should do a 24/7 senario ever again for any company, looking at the HArdcore belt..

Well since 05 & 06 TNA has went down ALOT. Now Im not a WWE mark because I will be the first to say when they did something that sucked, and in 06 & most of 07 WWE SUCKED. In my OPINION WWE has gotten better since 06 & 07. There divas have came WAY up since then. They got Victoria, Beth, Mickie, Melina, Natayla, Katie, & Jillian who are PPV worthy divas when used right. And all the rest geting training that they need. SD is pretty darn good and it has been better than IMPACT for quite a while now. The Main Events they've been producing as of late have all been ppv quality. If TNA decides to basically become another WWE, that's their decision, but they aren't going to do it by CONSISTENTLY getting a 1.1 every week in the ratings. They have gotten between a 0.8-1.2 for almost three years now, and nothing has really improved with Angle, Booker-T, Daivari, etc. etc.

Just a few things, TNA tried the build up ppvs main events like a MMA fight a couple of times last year but it did little ratings, and spike drop the TNA ppv build up shows. And I don't know if you notice,but Turning Point had clean finishes. Only one ref bump, and the running was not that bad(AJ still lost because Sting is more experience).And now we have a stablish strong heel stable for our long time fued, TNA orig. now have to bring their best game in order to defeat them.
-Wrestling needs to more real. I think that's the neccessary evolution from the cartoony, to the attitude era, the next era should be realism. Real personas, exciting technical matches like ROH.
-It is hard to book because as you said wrestling fans want different things.

Not at all. ROH has no good story lines or anything that would seperate it from WWE or TNA. Yes, the wrestling is a lot better and real wrestling fans would watch it but it would never get past the TNA-type ratings.
The reason I like TNA is for example if John Cena was in TNA he would actually probably do more than his 3 MOVES OF DOOM and be a better Wrestler

tna has had commercials on wwe tv before. And jim cornett had a big role in the monday night wars DVD. He is with tna and he knows why wcw went down to wwe. He should be makin tna and better company then what they are and should be getting way better ratings then what there getting. That might not be as known as wwe, but they have sting mck angle nash scott etc... With those people should give them better ratings

Not necessarily, even though they have big names it means nothing when nobody knows about you. WCW was so successful back in the 90's because they had money and exposure, tna doesn't so not many peple know that steiner, nash, angle, sting, and booker are even there. When they get exposure the ratings will rise, you will see.

Those are the tna fans themselves chanting. Not really hard, most fans don't care for wrestling anymore so they don't tune is as much as they used to. I'm one of them. I watch impact but if those fans who don't watch as much as they used are going to watch wrestling it will probably be raw. Meaning they probably will never know what tna is, and the young fans have an even greater chance of not knowing.

But on a different note, if tna wants to be different from wwe, i think they should stop doing the stone cold steve austins whats or last time i seen tna with that foley backstage angle, you could hear all the fans chanting hardy for jeff hardy being the mysterey person mick had on the phone. They sure do have to get away from the wwe style of things because if they try to be the wwe the people will choose the wwe itself to watch over tna. TNA in the beginning was a very different product then what it is today. They just had joe, styles, jarrett, abyss, and killings as the top guys, now you have the m.e.m and mick foley, things have really changed.

RAW is atleast watchable. Impact is the worst wrestling show on TV. Im watching right now and they had 1 match in the first hour, and that ended with a run in. Then next 40 minutes were nothing but non-wrestling segments...

Alot of em, Summerslam wasnt half bad, Taker vs Edge in Hell in a Cell, and Cena vs Batista was better than anyone expected....Unforgiven was really good, No Mercy had the Jericho vs HBK ladder match, And Cena returning at the Royal Rumble was something NO ONE expected and even Smart Mark fans were cheering for cena....and how was jeff hardy not unexpected? A guy with 2 strikes to his name, winning the major title...It was definately more unexpected then Samoa Joe winning his world title.

No way in hell would a Smark person cheer for Cena. I saw the PPV i heard some boos. Jeff was so expected come on. He's been in the business for like 10 years and now that they marketed even more and being the only face on smackdown to hand it too made it obvious. And all those PPV's you mentioned weren't as a whole you just mentioned a main event. I won't pay 50$ for 1 or 2 matches. I agree with a lot of stuff on this video also will FoolKiller99's video (look him up). I can't comment on WWE since I don't watch it but as for TNA, I would say that it is getting better.
Pro wrestling fans, actually want to mark out for a wrestler or an angle. I can say that I did that twice this year, one for Joe winning the title and the other for Angle saying stuff about Jarrett's late wife.
I want to get worked up more often but TNA don't emotionally involve the fans enough.

TNA should build there company more like MMA, your totally right. I mean, look at Lockdown (Joe/Angle), that was there highest buyrate last year, because the build up intensity was awesome. Although it was really predictable I had feelings for Joe to win the title and felt he really deserved it. TNA should be more like that, to an extent where I can actually get into the feuds.

Sting needs to retire! I cant buy the fact that he takes 6 months off and comes back and wins the title. Yes sting is a legend but i dont want to see a champion that only wrestles tag matches 6 man matches and claims to be a champion.Guys like Styles Joe and Angle are the ones who should be on top. Sting didn't display his mic skills from late 1996 till June 1998 (Crow gimmick) when he joined the Wolfpac. His mic skills came out when he returned in 1999 pretty much disbanding his "Crow" gimmick.

I remember the HBK HHH thing on Byte this.. hell i remember them doing that with JBL v.s Batisita, before the show ended and that was a good hype.. I love wrestling and everytime from the last 2 years untill now I tried to watch TNA and serious after not even 5 minutes I stopped watching it.
Everything is bad in TNA, it's almost like a UWE BOLL movie.
It could be awesome if TNA was cool too watch, but TNA is trying to be like the WWE, just trying is already the biggest mistake to start with.

Well since 05 & 06 TNA has went down ALOT. Now Im not a WWE mark because I will be the first to say when they did something that sucked, and in 06 & most of 07 WWE SUCKED. In my OPINION WWE has gotten better since 06 & 07. There divas have came WAY up since then. They got Victoria, Beth, Mickie, Melina, Natayla, Katie, & Jillian who are PPV worthy divas when used right. And all the rest geting training that they need. TNA has good matches, but just like WWE has alot of bad points as well.

SD is pretty darn good and it has been better than IMPACT for quite a while now. The Main Events they've been producing as of late have all been ppv quality. No offense, but you're part of the reason TNA is doing so poorly. You and TNA both worry too much about the WWE. If TNA decides to basically become another WWE, that's their decision, but they aren't going to do it by CONSISTENTLY getting a 1.1 every week in the ratings. They have gotten between a 0.8-1.2 for almost three years now, and nothing has really improved with Angle, Booker-T, Daivari, etc. etc.

Just a few things, TNA tried the build up ppvs main events like a MMA fight a couple of times last year but it did little ratings, and spike drop the TNA ppv build up shows. And I don't know if you notice,but Turning Point had clean finishes. Only one ref bump, and the running was not that bad(AJ still lost because Sting is more experience).And now we have a stablish strong heel stable for our long time fued, TNA orig. now have to bring their best game in order to defeat them.

Good comments:
-Sting doing great promos and not missing a step
-Wrestling needs to more real. I think that's the neccessary evolution from the cartoony, to the attitude era, the next era should be realism. Real personas, exciting technical matches like ROH.
-It is hard to book because as you said wrestling fans want different things.
-Roy Jones/countdown shows right on!
I'm a Nash fan. He's just got a cool charisma about him. If TNA had more big names I don't think he'd be wrestling.

the only problem that i have with the main event maffia is that they keep playing to the fans, lke Scott Steiner's promo got everyone cheering and i saw some fans bowing to Sting as he was walking down the ramp and he starting bowing back and fans hold up MEM signs and if they turn into faces theirs no way they can get over and if their heels like they all should be than this angle has limettless potential

Not at all. ROH has no good story lines or anything that would seperate it from WWE or TNA. Yes, the wrestling is a lot better and real wrestling fans would watch it but it would never get past the TNA-type ratings.

The reason I like TNA is for example if John Cena was in TNA he would actually probably do more than his 3 MOVES OF DOOM and be a better Wrestler

You contradict yourself many times. You say you only cares about matches and who wins and loses doesn't matter, then you say ROH is hard to follow. ROH has great matches all the time.
You just don't want to follow ROH. ROH is easy to follow. They have Video Wires all the time.
