When i was a kid back in the 80s we had both Showbiz and Chuck e cheese,s but all the kids went to Showbiz becuse the pizza,games,prizes and atmosphere was just better.It was to dark in Chuck e cheese,s.I remember being mad when Chuck e cheese,s took over.

why is chucky cheese on a show biz pizza commercial. i suppose they were the same company but i thought showbiz's mascot was that redneck bear.

@jerrycarney yes but chuck e cheese was bigger and chuck e cheese bought show biz pizza but chuck e cheese was called show biz and later called chuck e cheeses aAND THE REDNECK BEAR IS CALLED BILLY BOB!!!!

@sacredcartoons100 You've got that backwards. Showbiz was the place that had Billy Bob and the Rock-afire Explosion, and THEY bought Chuck E. Cheese (Pizza Time Theater). They operated restaurants with both themes for a while, but then they did "concept unification" and converted all of the Rock-afire places to Chuck E. Cheese because he was more popular (at the time)

@deeblite Look, the creator of the Rock A fire Explosion did not want to give Showbiz the rights of the characters, when they were trying to kick him out of the Showbiz Pizza company. So they decided to get even by unifying the Chuck E Cheese characters, which they had owned rights to at the time.
