I absolutely LOVE her. I think I found her by looking for some Jewel music and Sarah popped us as a "Recommendation". I listened to it and just fell in love with her music. "Ice" is my favorite song by her. I had to buy the CD. I have Afterglow and Fumbling Towards Ecstasy currently. She has such amazing vocals.

I'm black and when i mention her people look at me like i am crazy. I love music i only listen to artist who actually know how to sing. Sarah McLachlan is one of my favorite singers of all time. Her voice is so soothing and relaxing. Its like her voice sneaks inside me and just take over. Her songs controls my mind, body and spirit. People don't make music like this anymore and i miss that i'm only 21 but i damn sure know how music suppose to sound and this is it.

I love Sarah as well, and I'm glad to hear young people still listen to this kind of music. If you like Sarah you should also check out Loreena McKennitt. It's a beautiful vocal to a beautiful melody and lyric. Maybe angel should just be silent.

perhaps this is about one of those love afairs that you know is wrong but feels soooo right - tragically flawed and hopelessly doomed but at the time the fullfills the need - but "only a fool is here to stay". so she wrote a song about it - there are things to smile about. She doesn't right simple bubble gum pop - she writes complex songs about complex relationships with all their flaws honestly right out there to see.

Don't get me wrong, I love Sarah to death and she happens to be one of my favorite singers, but every time she smiles in durring this preformance it always ruins the fucking song for me.

When you sing something like this you're NOT suppost to smile.
