Grand Riviera Princess Resort

Do look closer. This resort has not cared for the safety/well-being of guests. The explosion that killed 7 was due to illegally laid gas lines to heat pools. Ambulances were locked out at the gates. 5 people, including hotel management, were charged with professional misconduct to negligent homicide. But...the judge mysteriously dropped all charges and the state attorney general was 'relieved' of his position. The families never received an apology. Look deeper than the pretty ad.

Explosion was November 14, a date I will always remember after losing my brother in law and 9 year old nephew needlessly,when this resort decided to ignore reports of gas smells a week prior(sister & niece ok). There is a big investigation going on now(uncovering LOTS). But hey all you sun-chasers DON'T WORRY, the resort has been back up and running. As for "Recomend It....I hope they rebuild and reopen soon(after the explosion)" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?Body removal not quick enough 4 your holiday?

@joo7897 Please note, it was "up and running" when hotel guests were making official complaints of gas smells a week prior that were ignored to not affect business. They don't care about the safety of their guests so please don't be naive to the power of the dollar. If/When you do go please inform yourself of the local emergency locations, and ask if they have any on-site medical equipment. Carry all copies of your insurance info, and seewww.mexicovacationawareness­.comto help prevent tagedy 4u

@hazmx5 I think it was about a month ago, October'ish. There was a gas explosion in the main building that killed,(don't quote me here) 7 Canadians and 2 employees of the resort. many were hurt.

went in Aug. ..... WOW what a great place. People, Awsome. Food, Awsome. Room, Off the hook !  The Beach was beautiful, Some coral but no rocks. There is always something going on, either at the pool, or elsewhere around the resort. I Highly Recomend It...... I hope they rebuild and reopen soon(after the explosion)

omg i been there about 2 months ago ... i just cant explain how good it was..... it was better then an orgasm omg memories are so awesome so warm bars, food,, free,... mayian pyramids.....omg i want to go back and live there but there it was NOTHING like europe, AND NOTHING like northamerica... it was so diffrent there was the west part of the resort that i found really diffrent i dont know why but it was so .. i cant explain anyways my first hotel so 5 diomands n 5 stars thnx princess resorts
