I seen Zakk when he was touring the Book of Shadows, he came through Charlotte,N.C. in 1996 at a place called the Sound Factory, its not there anymore. He done this cover for an encore i couldnt believe it. He & Nick signed a poster that i still have. I gave him a $5 bill and Zakk singed and dated 7/18/96 which happenes to be my best friends birthday. I still have the $5 bill in a glass case. Zakk,Dime & Randy are my favorites and always will be.

Zakk knows an incredible amount of people. I feel blessed to have been acquainted with him. Zakk is much more than just a great talent. He is a natural virtuoso and can play many instruments very fluently from the moment he picks it up the first time. Of course when it comes to fretted string instruments, well, he reached the maestro level before he was even 18. That is much younger than it took many of his peers to reach such a level of acuity.

I am fairly new to Zakk, but I say that he is a gem of a virtuoso and a man. For him to not only sing this song and play it on the piano and not guitar, but also to perform it for an audience (perhaps) more familiar with his metallic leanings, is just excellent and daring.
