@buffykidd1971 The Tomb of the Cybermen, The War Games and The Seeds of Death are also out on DVD in regards to the Second Doctor stories. The Two Doctors is actually a Sixth Doctor Story. There other stories all exist in pieces here and there and are scattered around on the internet.

It's from the Faceless ones the two men are the Commandate (I don't think his name is ever mentioned) in charge of Gatwick airport and a Police inspector it is the last story that had Ben and Polly in the story hope it helps.

They are a great 'couple'. Even if you don't read it that way they're great to watch since they have such wonderful chemistry on screen. Oh, there are so many scenes not included here, and so many scenes lost in the BBC burnings. All on audio though.

Neither. Two was put on trial by the Time Lords for interfering and found guilty. His companions at the time, Jamie and Zoe, were returned to where they were from with all but their first memory of the Doctor wiped. Two was forced to regenerate into Three and confined to Earth, his knowledge of how to work the TARDIS locked in his mind. I think that last part is correct, anyway. Haven't seen all of the Three stories.

As K9sbrother said. The Doctor seemed to be more open with Jamie than his other companions. He also tended to be more comfortable around him, more so than even Rose. I think it all comes down to Jamie traveling with him for so long.

Oh, there are so many Jamie references. Five calls for him during the regeneration. And Ten goes by the name James McCrimmon at one point as well. Jamie is by far the most referenced companion over various Doctors.

Five didn't call out for Jamie during his regen, he called out Adric's name. Six did call Peri, Jamie at one point, when he was still recovering from regeneration, but he also called her Susan and Tegan, so I don't think you can read anything into that.

While still suffering regeneration sickness, Five cycles through the personalities of his previous selves and at one point calls Adric Jamie, saying "Jame, Jamie, you go back!" He also mentions other previous companions, and believes Romana is still on board. Gotta love regeneration sickness.

It really depends how you want to read it. Some read it as good friends, so read it as more. There are some questionable things (eg. listen to Frazer Hines (aka Jamie) on the commetary of "The Invasion" during the elevator scene), but it is still open.

There was a also a rumour that Frazer Hines hinted in the interview of Helicon Prime (Big Finish audio story) that they were indeed very conscious of the fact that they were playing the characters up to this effect. For fun and games apparently, the silly men. ;)

Well, however close friends they actually were, they did have such great chemistry that it makes the Troughton era real a jewel. ^_^
