  • What kind of shark is that

  • My dads boss had 2of those that he kept with some other fish in a 250 gallon tank in my dads office building. They always seemed quite happy together and I remember it was always a joy as a kid to go and see Geri's pet sharks.

  • i agree needs a bigger tank, but all you people in here saying it needs to be in the ocean, i hope you have no pets at all... considering ALL domestic animals were at one point down the line a wild animal.

  • i wonder if he knows that nurse shark might get 8 feet long?

  • Look, sharks are pretty awesome. I love marine animals to death. However, this tank is very tiny. a 3,000 gal tank is nothing to a shark. Talk about big fish in a small pond. You should turn this poor lil guy over to an actual Aquarium. Having a shark in the lobby of your office only shows A. that you're obviously shallow and care nothing about the care of others. and B. You have see living creatures as you would an end table... its just decoration. Which is pretty pathetic.

  • you should not have a shark for a pet i wouldnt

  • A bunch of reef fish and a mini reef in that tank would be awesome, but a shark by him/her self in there like that is just not cool.....

  • Looks like animal cruelty to me, did you ever get a bigger (like 500 gallon) tank? or did you just let the shark die because you couldn't give it enough room to swim around?

  • @Dahgrostabphri you do realize that this tank is 3000 gallons and you said 500 gallons would be bigger...

  • @adpuffs yeah, I meant 5000 but I missed a zero, but actually thinking of it, that shark probably needs about a 10000 gallon tank

  • fake

  • thats a nurse shark and it will get bigger needs bigger tank

  • Awww I`d be so bored...

  • Last Time I Seen This Was When Jaws Was A Goldfish LMFAO

  • damn the poor shark needs a lot more space to swim freely

  • hey check out my pet sharks on my channel 007jkirk there amazing!!!

  • i want a pet shark...my mom would kill me though lol thinking of how she would react would b funny XD

  • if you guys dont like a 3000,a person has a 800 gallon which is 3 times less :/ go flame them...

  • What kind of shark IS THIS? LMAO! THATS A BULL SHARK?

  • @WillSing4Label its a nurse shark.

  • you guys are gonna call me a nerd but i did alot of research on sharks nd they mostly live in shallow areas but they also sed the shallow areas are 4-6ft deep sooo yeah it needs to b deeper

  • That shark and that tank, dont go together...i suggest at least double the size and much much deeper.

  • how do you filter such a large tank?

  • At least remove those rocks so he/she can have a little more room to swim around. Nice pet though.

  • any animal like sharks should be in the ocean. It's selfish for people to think it's ok to have animals hidden away in thier private collection when they should be free and out repopulating thier kind.

If you want a pet buy a dog or cat, if you want a shark display buy some underwater photography.

    Shame on you!!!!!

  • @seasave1 shark fin soup!

  • These sharks get 14 feet and 400 lbs. What are you going to do then?

  • My old work had a 60,000 litre tank with two small reef sharks. They looked really bored.

  • A Shark cannot be kept with any equipment inside of the tank. Whoever set this up is an idiot. The metal in the heater is enough to drive him insane

  • a bucket

  • <<it does not belong in any tank. No, this guy belongs to the sea.

  • @derdeichmann No, he needs to get in mah belly!

  • Dude, the shark is to big already for this .. so it needs to be removed from that "bucket" right away!

  • Cool pet shark. But beware it needs a bigger tank in its near future!

  • Comment removed

  • @Lukethedude I have no clue how old or new this video is so dont call me a dumbass!

  • @Lukethedude What I ment was it is to big but can live in their for awhile, he/she needs a bigger tank but if they cant get one right away the nurse shark can survive for awhile in its current tank, just not to long.

  • do you even know anything about sharks? first u cant have rocks on bottom your shark will scrach its stomach et infection and die. and then ur shark is gowing to grow bigger than that tank since its probably only 1000 gallons

  • I feel bad... well justice will be served when you fall into his tank, and become his next meal (:

  • @creepcreepthecreep Srry to burst ur bubble but these sharks are actually friendly like dogs. O.o

  • @silenscream2 .... dont burst me bubble its coasy in here, so be gone

  • I hope you realize nurse sharks can reach 12-14 feet. They do NOT grow to the size of their tanks.

  • let the shark go

  • cmon guys stop complaining about the size of the tank, atleast it isnt in a bowl labeled sharkfin soup

  • poor shark :(

  • those are actually barbels kinda like on catfish(whiskers)

  • kinda cruel BUT COOL

  • VAMPIRE SHARK LOL

  • its a nurse shark -_-''

  • i know it is what i said was a joke

  • oh ok XD

    u has a shark?

  • FROM THE OCEAN LOL

  • ID STEAL ONE INSTEAD OF PAYIN DAT MUCH

  • Another former public aquarium worker here. The shark seems to be in good condition, but the tank is waaaayyyy too small. A good tank for nurse shark would start from around 50 000 gallons. And the jäger heater shown in the video really made me crack. There are many shark species that would do fine in that tank. Chiloscyllium and Hemiscyllium species would be fine, and there could even be a pair and the office people could even get to see them breed.

  • If you guys read it, it doesnt say this guy owns it, it says its in the lobby of his office so he cant really make any chances.

    Very nice lookign shark btw

  • that thing is gonna get huge

  • I've always wanted to keep a dogfish as a pet since I catch them every year, they're so cute and facinating to look at. Also the best part is that they can't really harm you like most sharks since they don't have teeth.

  • man i love those nerse sharks! its like 1,500 for one not even that size

  • holy you need a bigger thank... having exotic animals are really neat to have, but as a responsible pet owner, you should give your exotic pets the proper living requirements.... That tank is sooooo small, i feel soo sorry for the poor thing!

  • What you feed this amazing creature? I might get one. 8-D

  • my dad works at an aquarium and when he say this he said that the tank is way to small for the nurse shark so get a new tank!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool, sand shark?

  • cool i want a pet shark

  • needs a bigger tank

  • its a nurse shark

  • Ive seen same color as this fish but it has a black top fin edge.. is it the same?? or other kind?? its 1000php to us and like 200us Dollars.. but its just like.. ahm.. 1 feet long.. and put together with the same kinds..

  • i caught 2 last week.. will it bite?? and izzit easy to keep a fish like that??

  • i wasn't talking 2 u i was talking 2 FlyingLimes

  • that is nowhere big enough for a shark that size..sort it out

  • do you ever go swiming in te tank with it ?

  • It is a nurse shark . I had one in my tank 250 gallon my shark was 2 1/2 feet and my green eel was 3 1/2 feet long. U guys act like it is impossible to have a shark, u can easily by sharks at places. Place by my house has hammerheads, black tips, nurse etc..

  • Cool. Where do you live? LOL! JUST KIDDING!

My mom would never let me have a pet shark!

That is, unless I turn 18.

  • black tips can grow huge though

  • NURSE SHAAAARK!!! I had one for a few weeks...it was so freakin tight...but our tank wasn't big enough for it so we gave him back. Now we have a 200 gallon aquarium...so perhaps a small cat shark would be okay

  • FlyingLimes its a nurse shark not a lemon shark u should've paid attention in school.

  • No. I pay attention in school and I'm a big enough animal expert to say, Lemon Sharks are bigger you twit!

  • if this was a real pet shark then it really kill it, cause I seen a pet snake, frog, spider, monkey and a bird and this a "shark" just kill it all. what kind of pet will I see next a "Tiger" or maybe a "Elephent" which will kill it even more

  • Nothing u are saying makes any sense??

  • lol cause I'm just a lil kid =p

  • o.O

  • that is a nurse shark i think???

  • how did you manage to get a shark that big?!? CRAP!

  • i wouldnt be surprised if he was telling the truth bu who knows. Anyway thats a cool lemon shark.

  • who the hell would do that to a shark like that thats to big to be a pet and look at the small tank its in cmon man

  • What are u smoking? that looks like a big home made water tank 300 or more gallons??? and the shark is probably about 2 feet

  • 3000

  • nice shark

  • nice shark

  • awesome shark ,

    how much

  • In your office? What kind of office do you work in? O_O

  • Foreign one

  • where the freak did you buy a shark?

  • You can buy them off of the internet, and have them shipped to your door, the smallest sharks need atleast a 180 gallon tank though so it can get expensive to own one.

  • Yes - it's a Nurse Shark. Yes -it will like get to about 9' long But I like the fact that it's in a pond -even if it will eventually need a future home the size of large Swimming pool.

  • actualy its in a 3k gallon tank, read descrip

  • The description is wrong. Either its not his tank or he is lying. No way its more then a 1000 and ide say more like 400g.

  • i guess it is a nurse shark [first thought it was a lemon(or lemming ur pick) shark]

  • ur all dumb its prob more like 2,500 its round so it is going to look smaller, that is a nurse shark, that tank probobly would have suited better to a brown banded cat shark

  • Your dumb you moron. There is no way that is more then 8' across ide say more like 6 meaning its def under 1000g.

  • not 3000 gal maybe 300

  • nurse shark

  • thats not a 3000 gallon dude...

  • That is so badass.

  • looks like a Nurse Shark to me, they do get as big as 9 ft, what I heard from local fish pet store, I just bought mine recently, its only 16 inch..

oh, and another thing: its hard to beilieve it a 3,000 gal tank :/ ?? but, looks cool anyway!

  • Ya, are you sure that Sleeper's are even legal pets in the U.S.?

  • Sleeper sharks are huge. that is just a tawny nurse shark

  • it's not a nurse, it's a sleeper shark, and that tub is just too small for a shark that size

  • i see its a nurse shark....
