yes, the ps3 is doing all the "work" and streams the video to the psp which sends back your button commands.
heck, at the time the gameplay was better on the psp as you could use the analog stick, which was a feature they later added to lair via an update on the ps3.

I should be getting my Playstation 3 soon. I already have a new PSP. Do you know what game I should get first?

it really depends on what you like.
i would personally suggest folklore, cod4, uncharted, ratchet and clank future, GTA4, ninja gaiden sigma [if you didnt play ninja gaiden or ninja gaiden black], rainbow six vegas 2 and the orange box if you can't/don't want to play it on your pc.

I was literally just looking at your page wondering if I should unsubscribe because there hasn't been anything in 2 months. Glad to see you are back. (even if it isn't what I expected)

even i didn't expect it. ;) came across a picture of lair on a psp and thought 'that is such an obvious photoshop'. yea... i might have been abit wrong. ^^
anyway, i've been lurking for a few days now so i'll probably get back to the regularly scheduled programming at some point.
