You can always restore though and Apple/iTunes will never know

the problem you're having isn't because of the jailbreak, the problem you're having is low system memory. Get an app called "freememory" you're gonna have to look for a cracked .ipa from google or something, but that will solve your problem.

Actually nevermind that was my bad. I accidentally created 2 frimwares one wasnt complete I stopped it @ 1% cause I remembered I already made one and all I had to do was look a little bit more and find the complete firmware. Thanks =D it worked!

and when iTunes comes up and i do the whole thing, a window called iPod comes up, and it's a loading bar. Then it says: preparing to restore and after a minute or two another window comes up saying my iPos could not be restored due to an unknown error

here are some possible reasons why ur getting that error and some solutions

-You did not correctly apply the Pre-Jailbreak for custom firmware

-Your iPod does not have a white screen when restoring to custom firmware

-Your Custom Firmware is corrupted (In which you should recreate it)

-THE BEST WAY TO FIX IS RESTORE TO ORIGINAL AND THEN START JAILBREAK OVER

I installed the libusb and I kept getting a blue screen of death when i restarted. After uninstalling libusb in safemode I was able to use my computer again. Would you know why that would cause my comp to crash? I use Vista. Thanks
