There are a lot of people who actually live on after cancer surgery. But Aretha's cancer is incurable Pancreatic cancer, which is the same thing that Patrick Swayze had. A bit of sad news just announced on the evening news. Aretha Franklin has just been diagnosed with having pancreatic cancer. Miss Franklin recently had surgery last week in Detroit ans the announcement of her condition was just revealed today, December 8, 2010. Like millions of Aretha fans, we are all heart broken and my personal prayers are now with Miss Franklin, her family and fans.
