UPDATE: This truck is finally done and with my recent injury I won't be riding my quad anytime soon, so I can focus on getting videos up of this truck for those who want it.
damn man i would take this truck how it is anytime....i love these trucks so much!. i dont mind working on trucks especially old ones b cuz there is so much room in the engine to get around....onece its done they look great to!
@OGOaker It's not going great. Still isn't done over a year later. If you want to do it for your son like my grandparents are doing for me than buy something that only needs a little work. To get this done you have to put so much time into it that it takes a toll on my grades and social life. If I don't work on it than I am out of a vehicle. If you want a project I can understand but don't make it his vehicle.
I Have one that i am working on... it s a fixerupper but i love the model of this chevy gonna deck it out though with some 5 point harness seats and a 350 fuel injected. Planning on changing the stick shift so it mounts into the floor and im gonna put a roll cage in her and hopefully take her racing =D
cool truck ,it has the paint scheme that I'm going to paint mine. Black with white inside the moulding, I just finished the 327 in it and picked up the wheels off of craigs list and finished the flowmaster exhaust.you can check out mine at superdave319 on you tube
@hulk3606 i believe that they did a few of these with the corvette engine in them from the same year and that they really haul. for a 327 mine really gets going though, not even my grandmas vw bug with turbo can accel that quick.
i just got a 66 c-10 longbed custom, that all the wiring is burned up with a 283 2-barrel 3 speed floor shift. i luve it al ready , may take me some time to fix but i wont stop .dont need a show truck just a cool driver
Great looking truck, love the chrome and black. I am restoring a 66 C20 long step, small back window, the previous owner pulled the 6 and put in a 350/350. im swapping a 700r4 this year.
i have 64 chevy as well but mine is competition orange with a 327 scorpion intake, two 4 barrel 750 holleys and a 550 lift voodo cam 202 double hump heads and a modern 5 spd.make the truck look even cooler in my opion get some ss kregers. 15 inch 50's

ya it was my uncles then my moms and after 7 years of rotting at my grandmas they said they wanted to get rid of it but i said i wanted it so they put a new engine and tranny in and i got it for free but fully restored they are not to hard to buy on craigslist
