I heard that the closest hydrant was 1000 ft away. I don't know much about fighting fires, but I know that that's a ridiculous distance.

@Racecars721 most engines carry around 1200 feet of 4'' supply line. plus you can relay pump. basically its a pump somewhere along the hose lay that boosts the pressure for the attack engine.

that is a very blind intersection, and if our police are available they block it off for us to continue in.
