I googled "drum practice routine" and this comes up near the top results with two other videos. After viewing two of the videos, I still haven't found what I'm looking for. If anyone has a good detailed practice routine, please message me it. I'm getting frustrated on not knowing what to practice and in what order anymore.
@louedawg Wow. This was a year ago that I posted this. I've since figured out what to practice. I pretty much stick to mostly Tommy Igoe material. I start off with Great Hands For A Lifetime on the pad... and then move right into Groove Essentials. That alone takes up a lot of practice time. I used to have a teacher, but can't afford it... which is why I asked the question in the first place, whipper snapper.
@ShelterDogs my bad. Good practicing. Another great way to have practice guidance is by following a book.. if your in to swing/jazz then i recommend John Riley's "The Art Bop Drumming', though there are many similar good ones (as well as very different good ones of course). All the best
@louedawg It's okay, mate. You had good intentions when you wrote that. And that's what counts. I've been hoping to take lessons for so long now, but the state of things just doesn't allow that right now. :(
pretty good - esp. warming up towards high energy at the end. But the sound is "woody". Looking forward to improving video/sound technology on your next takes.
cool. nice. tight.

Hi Dani,
pretty good - esp. warming up towards high energy at the end. But the sound is "woody". Looking forward to improving video/sound technology on your next takes.

Hey Dani
I like the solo so far, the sound quality with a normal camera is not very impressive. It's my first time I see you soloing.. ;)
I already started to bandy the solo.
Keep on drumming,
Nico
