Their first two albums were actually really cool. They had that nu-metal sound that was popular amongst 12 year olds at the time, but they had an actual singer instead of someone who just growls.
Then they sold out. Once their third album became a hit, they sold their songs to every movie, every video game, EVERYTHING.
Good for them. They made two great albums, then they made a shitty album and sold out. They deserved the cash.
Ill defend them. Yah they have changed but name an artist that has'nt. With age comes different emotions and different ways to express them. Although I am not a fan of there radio songs the rest of the albums that they come from still rock. There live show is amazing and they havent lost any passion for what they do. I can still see some the old days when they were the rainbow butt monkies in there live show.
okay lemme start by saying for a band from burlington (i'm from toronto) these guys have to be one of the most badass groups I've ever listened to.....but that was 5 years ago. Seriously, wtf happened? How do you go from 'Tip' to 'I'll keep your memory vague'? Musicians always mature I realize, but where do you draw the line between experimental maturity and losing what made you so fucking good to begin with? R.I.P F11, your new album continues to insult your previous work, congratulations.
Agreed. F11 was such an important band to me, but they started devolving into horrbile soft radio rock. As they ironically say in this song, "you lost what made you you" is what we can say about them now.
yeh I'm not sure why I got a negative on my comment. their first 3 albums as F11 were incredible, just so badass and I don't know how anyone can disagree that their newest album is a piece of shit in the light of everything they've done before. now here i was thinking Incubus went all soft but these guys just grew vaginas and put out a chunky turd. it's like as soon as they made One Thing they tapped into this hidden reserve of soft pop gayness and just went with it.
Yeah, the self titled still has SOME ballsy songs on there, but One Thing was the beginning of the end.
After that song blew up it was inevitable that they'd chop the nuts off their sound for more mainstream acclaim. I'm guessing that the majority of their "fans" now only know and like their last 2 albums, and all their original fans such has myself have given up on the band.
Yes I feel bad for Scott being in there all by himself.I have an odd urge to comfort him by joining him in there?lol.Ok Just an urge to be an enclosed space with him.lol.
Polly the best alt rock album ever. These guys are the shit. Even since RBM they have been one step ahead of the genre. Fantastic.

This is the last album and best IMO before they started sucking.

Not to sound ungrateful since this is probably my favorite Finger Eleven song but is there any way we can get this video in 480p or higher?

@bassie14 Damn true. I've always found it funny that whenever a band turns "mature", it's now become code for shitty music.

Both pages are monitored and run by people affiliated with windup records and both pages are also monitored by members of the band...
And to get down to the nitty and the gritty...
The Greyest of Blue Skies was released in 2000 but bones and joints as a single and music video was released in 2001
