  • Guy: I want to have a system that can seamlessly surf the web and just works.

Mac: Yeah I can do that

Guy: But I wanna be able to play games too

    PC: In your face Mac!

Mac: You could get a PS3 or an Xbox. You know, they have consoles dedicated to playing video games nowadays.

Guy: You're right. Thanks Mac! (walks away)

PC: Hey uhh- well... never mind

  • @Vigil921 *Facepalm*

  • @sidm666 It will if you got it with steam~! :D

  • Thing is, None of your PC files will be on your mac XDDD

Also I am a Mac user so don't call me a fanboy

  • this adds are ridiculous oooof course there is one woman who will transfer all your files sucessful and of course for FREE

  • who would dislike this?

  • Mac: hey PC what are you doing?

    PC: playing Battlefield 3

Mac. Oh how do i run that

    PC: Nvidia GTX 580

Mac: Ok does it work with Intel HD and 4 GB of ram and dual core processor

    PC: noob.

  • @TheTechShowHD I play BF on my Mac

    I use bootcamp

    *Trollface*

  • @slyspy70 BF 2

  • @slyspy70 then again its not longer a mac if you use boot camp...now its a pc *trollface* dont for forget it really not that hard to make a hackintosh, all you need is iboot mounted on a cd and a retail copy of snow leopard then update inside OSX to lion if you want. then just look up on google for drivers. result: a mac that can run 5 times faster then what apple provides at the same cost. keep in mind mac vs pc is windows vs OSX not hardware. :D dual boot on custom pc :D

  • Notice when windows 7 came out, apple stopped making these videos.

  • @SebFoghK True, Microsoft has definitely stepped up their game, but overall, I still feel OS X is more stable operating system in general.

  • you are unable to transfer info? lol

  • PC>Mac

  • Windows have windows easy transver

  • Or you can just take out the hard disc and put it in the new computer. Oh, you can't build macs or replace parts if they break? So sad...

  • I love these videos, the content is amusing, and the comments are as well!

Macs are only hated because their different and a little confusing, but Windows is probably that to a mac user. Have fun with that. I use both too, btw. ^-^

  • if my PC had, for example, Dead Space 2 (or anyone game), they will tranfer too ?

  • @sidm666 no they wont because 1 mac cant run that game 2 its not compatable 3 pc is better 4 macs for idiots who dont know how to use a pc

  • @lolpoop08 yeah stop hating

  • @lolpoop08 1. Oh, but you know you can run Windows 7 on a mac and run absolutely all Windows software? 2. Yes it is. 3. Macs are PCs, just better made ones with a better operating system. 4. Yes, you certainly showed who are the idiots with that series of eloquent and well thought out arguments. :)

  • @MrExperior and yup windows has to come and save the day again...

  • @MrExperior "3. Macs are PCs, just better made ones"

u obviously don't know how to build your own pc because my pc is built a lot better than a mac

and you pretty much can't play any games on a mac unless i have windows installed which would

give what reason to buy a mac then unless i wanted to program for mac ??

for the people who buy macs for facebook or browse the web you could of spent $1600 less on a windows

pc that would run just as well for what you needed it to do

  • @MrExperior about your "better made" comment... have you heard of the company Foxconn? If you own any computer made in China/ Taiwan, including ALL Apple products, it's made by Foxconn. The factory in China that builds all the Apple computers, is also the exact same factory that builds all ASUS computers. So it's made the exact same by the same people and the same machines. As for the OS, OSX is 12 years old already and has more backdoors than Windows did when OSX came out

  • @sidm666 yeah... for um... safekeeping

  • @sidm666 yes they will, but you cant play it on a MAC, if you take a piece of shit and covering it in plastic and calling it a computer, even THAT will run faster than a MAC for gaming

  • @sidm666 yes.

  • @sidm666 Well, that depends; Should you transfer the "Dead Space 2", or other PC exclusives, from Windows to OS X, you would have the data, but you wouldn't be able to run the .exe files within OS X. Should you however have a Desktop Virtualization program, i.e Parallels or VMWare Fusion, then the "Geniouses" would transfer your game to your virtual desktop, if you specify them to. But I guess if you know how to use Virtual Desktop then file transfer should be piece of cake.

  • PC sucks

  • @chikenexpress36 simply fuck them... if you think about it, why would something great be in the shadow of something bad?

its not hard to figure out that Macs are not the best computers, generally speaking.

I like my MacBook Pro and it fits my needs.

but that will change within a couple of years.

  • @chikenexpress36 I wasnt talking about the video :)

  • beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

  • mac is poo

  • if those people are unable to transfer the files from one computer to another themselves, perhaps they shouldn't own pc after all

  • @keoism

    Nope, just windows

  • @keoism Or they deserve to pay double the price for half the spec and get the MAC instead the PC ;)

  • mac sucks

  • Everyone complains about the prices of a Mac. It's the same reason a Benz costs more than a Hyundai. You're not only buying the specs, or only the design, or only the innovation etc etc...When it's all put together, you're buying a better user experience from beginning to end. Sure a Hyundai will get from point A to point B just like a Benz can...but the experience is different. If you can't afford it, be happy with your Hyundai and drive off. Don't hate.

  • @veeman2000 No one cares about the design its a laptop, the specs are shit (i have a 400$ computer with the same specs) and wtf do u mean by innovation(specifically)?????

  • mac genius - gay

  • Okay listen people. I've heard so many people saying that you can get a PC equal to the Mac for half the price. That is true, but for that you need to buy the parts separately and build it yourself. Some people just do not want to do that. They would rather have it already built. Just like building your own house is much cheaper than hiring a carpenter.

  • @batmannotahero well i decided that i didn't feel like building my current computer, so i just bought it... and looking at the specs and price of my premade, it still has better specs than an equivalent Macs... HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010 for $700, compared to the 21.5" iMac for $1700

  • @wilhamlin What are the specs?

  • @batmannotahero Intel i-5 processor @ 2.70 GHz, 8 gigs of ram, 1TB HDD @7200RPM

  • @wilhamlin What about the video card? A 1700 21.5 inch imac has a Quad-core 2.8 Ghz i7 processor.

  • @batmannotahero for 1700 you can either get the i7 processor, or the extra 4 gigs of RAM. since mine has the i5 and 8 gigs i looked up the same for apple. as for GPU, mine is a 6450, a little underpowered, but with that $1000 i saved i can easily get a new one

  • @wilhamlin True. Is yours Quad-core? But you see what I mean by getting a new video card. Most users don't even know how to replace a video card. And there are other factors, such as yours is portable, the iMac has a bigger screen, so on and so forth. I think its best to compare laptop to laptop.

  • @batmannotahero yea it's a Quad-core. but the h8-1010 is a desktop, not a laptop.

  • @wilhamlin You know what I mean about the limited knowledge of most users though?

  • Linus also dose this so change to linux and you will fill the freedom...

  • PC just awesome

  • Say no to Windows and Mac Use only Linux(Mandriva,Fedora,Ubuntu(My Select :D) and other...

  • The-PC-dude is a winner :D

  • bet they cant transfer mah pr0n collection to an iMac

  • so much easier....use linux

  • if you need a mac "genius" to fix a very simple problem then you shouldn't have a computer

  • Beeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Uhhh eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Lol beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Basically, Mac users are the kind of people who don't even know how to transfer files and need a 'genius' to do it for them.

  • HEIL PC!

  • 0:30 to skip ads! lolz!!!!

  • pero que vídeo con pocas luces jjajajaja

  • I wouldn't trust my personal files and media to a stranger.

  • @sander217 b/c ur a narrow minded fanboy

  • Just use a USB and transfer your files into their. Easy, right?

  • Mac Genius couldn't fix a basic problem like iPods locking up an OS. Oh.

  • "All the work" (copy... paste... drink coffee)

  • @Noobst3R99

    i'll have a coke

  • @sirsnarf I'll have _ coke.... whoops :/

  • @chafrador

    Well i live in Holland.

    How much do you want?

  • @Noobst3R99

    No... copy... paste... get viruses

  • @thelinkinparkfan504 Shitface, the only reason why "the mac is virus free" is because almost nobody writes virusses for them. The people who took the time: iantivirus.c o m/threats/ Anal rapeface, do your homework instead of fanboy around.

  • @Noobst3R99

Well my apoligies if I don't pay that much attention to videos. The only reason I said "Copy... paste... get viruses" Is because that can happen to PCs. Now go and wash your mouth out with soap dip shit.

  • @thelinkinparkfan504 Did you open the link I (tried to give)/gave you? It's a list with hundreds of Mac viruses. It's because that's what can happen to Mac's... It's not securer than Windows, it's just less of a target to hackers/scripters.

  • @Noobst3R99

Did I say it's securer than windows? No, I didn't.

  • @Noobst3R99 Mac User: All right time to just copy and past SIMPLE! (gos to options, gos to touchpad options change left click with 2 fingers on, restart, and copy paste, then throws mac in garbege) -_- fuckin hell

  • @SnakeTheWolf SnakeTheWolf: All right time to see if I can not be a fucking retard. ...........Nope. (Shoots himself. World cheers).

  • @batmannotahero

don't be mad that what I say is truth... *cough* macfag *cough*

  • @SnakeTheWolf Look, shut the fuck up dickhead

  • @batmannotahero why because he's right? touchpad's don't make things easier, they just make the easy things more complex

  • @wilhamlin The Mac trackpad can be simple for you or you can make it complex. It is fantastic with its multi-touch capabilities. But, you can also have it set on 1 finger only and the right corner is right click and the left corner is left click. And you don't know how far SnakeTheWolf and me go back, so just watch out. Be very careful now

  • @batmannotahero ooo, you know what the problem with multi touch is? they don't know whether it's 3 or 2 fingers touching it. There is no, and never will be, any trackpad that is actually easier to use and more accurate than just using a mouse.

  • @wilhamlin First of all, who is they? If you are referring to the trackpad then you can be damn sure it knows when there is 2 or 3 fingers touching it, since they serve different functions. If you want you can switch 3 finger touch off, or 2 finger touch off, and just go with a standard trackpad. And yes, the clicking multi-touch trackpad of the Macs is as easy to use as a mouse. However, I agree that nothing is as accurate as a mouse, which is why they are better for first person shooter games

  • @batmannotahero yea it knows, kind of like the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch all know that there are multiple fingers touching the screen because someone is trying to zoom in on something

  • @wilhamlin Well done. Keep it up and maybe you'll graduate someday

  • @batmannotahero Nice comeback, Sir!

  • @SnakeTheWolf I wasn't trying to be witty, or funny, or anything of that nature. I was simply telling you. Got that?

  • I got a mac, and its actually the best laptop Ive had so far honest.

however for the real hardcore stuff I use my PC at home.

stop hating on each other, apple make great products and so does microsoft,

HP, intel, amd, google, ibm, toshiba etc etc etc.

unlike you little bitches, they actually make stuff.

    you just hate stuff

  • @bloodaid

you seem to be the first intelligent person I've ever met in my life :D

  • @Themightyfinder1 well, somebody had to earn the title hahahaha -.-

  • @bloodaid

    "hahahaha -.-" ?

  • @Themightyfinder1 oops I meant 8=====D

  • @bloodaid Macs aren't necessarily 'bad' they're just way overpriced for what they are. For example, I could build 3 maybe 4 top of the range PCs all running pretty much any programme or game (within reason) for the price of a single imac. Another example? price of an 8gb ipod nano: £115. Price of a standard 8gb mp4 player: around £30. The only difference btween them being that you are made to use apple's crappy software to access your own files when using on your computer.

  • @MrMunchies64 "overpriced", probably.

    let me say this:

I would never in my whole life buy an iMac becuase they are truly overpriced. thats a fact.

However the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air (cheapest models) are fairly priced considering the quality you get. They ARE quality computers.

But things will change in the near future (next year or so) because intel is investing a whole bunch of money on ultrabooks.

Ultrabook = same as an Macbook Air.

  • @bloodaid I'm not going to deny that they are good quality products and it was probably a bit ignorant of me to only use apple's most expensive computer as an example. So, i shall change my statement to SOME of apple's products are way overpriced. I admit that the macbook pro is reasonably priced for what you get. However, the macbook air is ridiculously priced considering you can't even upgrade it.

  • @MrMunchies64 yeah the air isnt THAT well priced,. but for me, its enough that its wheight is so small to make me want to buy one.

I personally font like bulky big gadgets and stuff. I want them to be elegant and slim. :)

  • @bloodaid I guess what it all boils down to is that aesthetics are more important to some than to others.

  • @MrMunchies64 yeah. but like I said before, things will change in the near future. soon all computers will be slimmed.

  • @MrMunchies64

3 or 4 top of the range PCs for one mac? No offense but that is bullshit. I know macs are overpriced but they defiantly are NOT that overpriced. You could build two PCs at the most.

  • @microsf121 I didn't say any old mac, i said the imac which costs around £1600 (which would be around $2500 if you're american) so i think its definately possible to build at least 3 good computers for the price of an imac. Ofcourse not all of apples products are as overpriced as the imac, i just used that as an example to show how far their overpricing goes.

  • @MrMunchies64

I think to build a pc with the same specs as the $2500 imac would cost $1300 minimum.

  • @microsf121 Firstly, no it wouldn't. And secondly, thats still a bloody $1200 difference!! doesn't that tell you something? i mean all that money can't go on aesthetics right? This is daylight robbery!!

  • @MrMunchies64

I know macs are overpriced, you pay 1/4 of the total price of the mac for the apple logo. I just don't think an $830 PC can perform as well as a $2500 mac. It'll take a $1300 PC at the least.

  • @microsf121 Processor: i7 2600k ($315). RAM: Wintec Value 8GB 1333MHz ($40). Case: CoolerMaster HAF 922 ($100). Hard-drive: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM ($55). Video card: PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 ($150). Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500w ($60). Motherboard: MSI P67S-C43 ($90). OS: Arch Linux (free, and just an example). Total cost: $810.

  • @bloodaid i could buy a laptop with windows 7 with ALL the same specs as a mac for $400

  • @EdubbleRulez not true at the moment... havent heard of a single PC with support for thunerbolt.

nor do I think that windows 7 is as efficient as OS X. to be honest now.

    I'm talking about laptops now.

And no I'm not an Apple fanboy, my main computer is a PC!

  • wow transfer some files for freeeeeee? I want a MAAAC, nao. It was always so difficult for me to klick copy and then paste, i almost died. Thank god there is Mac. I pay 1000€ extra for a mac insted of a pc and then i get this super cool awesome file transfer service.

  • LOL to 0:20

  • It's funny because I'm not a frustrated user, I love PC>

  • Hmm... I prefer PC because it's more flexible.

  • They got me. I'm terrified of transfering files. No one has ever done this before. Only experts can pull it off.

  • Vendor lock-in, not fear is the foundation of Windows customer loyalty.

Vendor lock-in and brainwash is the foundation of Apple customer loyalty.

  • @Frap357

Riiight, Apple's award winning customer satisfaction, industry leading technical support, and making the most reliable computers has nothing to do with Apple's customer loyalty or constantly increasing market share. Be afraid - be very afraid !

  • @accordguy0325

Award winning customer satisfaction, lol, you're just reciting Apple PR marketing.

Industry leading technical support, you mean how they told the tech support employees to NOT help customers with malware?

  • *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

  • I know...let's play a game called "count the comments that aren't slagging off or promoting macs or others". It's very quick...simply because there's little to none. Can people just give it a rest?

  • BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP... BEEEEEEP.

  • i started out as a mac user back in the macintosh classic era. then i learnt to use pc during the ms dos days.. all the way to windows xp today, and at the same time i used diffrnt range of macs; imac, powerpc, ibook, powerbook and today macpro n ipad. i use a laptop with xp in office. at home im back to my mac. to me i need both, pc for my work coz my company comp platform is windows based, while mac at all other times. i have used the computers for donkey years. i was an avid gamer esp during

  • you what they should do

    A TRIPLE THREAT

    YEAH THATS RIGHT

    MAC VS PC VS LINUX

    WHO WINS

    YOU DECIDE

    (caps in epic voice)

  • Will newly release game play on Mac? I don't think so, sorry :D

  • @MingmingHill400 Actaully, with the new Mac App store, im seeing all the new computer games that were just annonced appear on the Mac App store..

so i guess Macs are now on board when it comes to gaming.

  • @arhamm89 Not if you want slow load times and not the highest quality graphics. The only gaming company that puts out good graphics and runs smoothly on a Mac is Valve. Try playing Crysis on a mac and you will see that thing die in a second. With a macs low specs you won't see quality gaming for a while. In my dorm hall I have a friend who had the top of the line MPB 17' and I have a middle class HP 15' and my HP blew the MBP away in loading Starcraft 2 and even the graphics looked way better.

  • even if you do copy all of your programs over, none of them will run as macs cant handle executables, and none of your games will run.

so by all means aslong as you dont want to use any programs or games feel free to spend 3 grand on a pretty paperweight :)

  • How about the Incompatible...

    File Formats

    3rd party Programs

    Control Panel Settings

    Games ZOMG Games!

So I'm gonna be stuck with half a computer, right?

  • @TheJustinCase4 "last year more people bought macs then pc's" no. no they did not. in 2008-2009 the ratio of mac and pc users shifted slightly, but still havent sold more then pc's. windows 7 brought things back to normal in 2010. apple cant keep up with windows, too overpriced and far less features.

  • lol transfer all your files to a mac? id like that in writing please. cos i dunno bout everyone else, but i know that the compatability between pc programs and macs isnt quite 100% and if u need help doing it anyway, u shouldnt really be buying a computer u dont know how to use!

  • beeeeeeeeee......eeeeeeeeeeep

  • I want a Mac... sandwich! jkin I like how fast Macs start up, like a Win7 on hibernate. I also like Linux like spaces feature for getting things done quickly. I use it at work. But as for what I do (I am a computer engineer) I prefer PC. Far more customizable cuz it doesnt try to make computing utterly idiot proof. Far greater # of apps and compatibility with devices too.

  • That is most true commercial i've seen in a while. PC users are just afraid of switching to macs for some reason, when macs are clearly the better choice. If you dont believe me, last year more people purchased macs over PCs. PC is finally losing its grip on the market. Windows itself said that Vista sucked, so thats why they're frantically making new software like windows 7. But so far not many people are paying much attention.

  • @TheJustincase4 i am not afraid of switching to a mac its just there low end computers to me and gives me less then I can get from a home made pc so not a a better choice at all

  • Yer, cause pulling a HD out of an old computer and putting it into another is a REAL HASSLE! No, wait, it's not.

  • Hahaha, he sure said it:

"Fear of switching is the foundation of customer loyalty for PC's"

Trust me - once you go mac, you never go back!

  • @Frankholmquist I work on Apple driver dev at AMD and use a Mac at work but I still prefer PC.

  • @angrymoth2

    And I respect that.

    You're a brave young man.

    Stand tall.

    And hang in there.

    ;-)

  • Fear Switching, and Prices.

  • Its true, converted 4 people - All in denial and fear, now they love it.

  • I love my Mac, but "Mac Genius" is about the fullest crap I've ever heard. A bunch of slacker 20somethings that drive hybrids and walk around smelling their own farts.

  • Apple is being a fanboy of it's own computer.

  • Since windows has more users it's automatically the best operating system. More users = more manufactures that make the os better.

  • @Kossrifle The entire Linux fanbase disagrees.

  • @AnimalNitrates

This is mac vs Pc...not ubuntu vs pc XD.

And no, having everything run third party can piss you off.

  • last i checked final cut ran on pc... and i dont see how aperture is any better than any other pc equivalent.... and if your actually mean imovie then my time is wasted arguing

  • beeeeeeeeeeeeaaeeeeaeeeaeeeaaeeeaaap

  • Too bad PC just released the ass-kicking windows 7. Apple just got pwned in the face!

  • Windows 7 doesn't need to delete all your files when you install it.

    pwnd

  • meh i like both

  • lol im soo confused! i have the money but i don't know to get a macbook air or a PC (i need it for editing photos / videos, that is why i want imovie ) :P pllease help me decide, and if you say pc, then what kind?

  • @crazygirl4h why would you get a macbook air to edit photos and vids? i have a 2010 mbp and i think that the macbook airs are a waste of money...sure they look nice and theyre small but you dont have as much memory with it...im not into editing photos or vids and i use my mbp for djing and have over 5000 songs on my mbp...i hate pcs bc i dl a lot of music if i dont buy it...and i have gotten viruses even w/anti virus programs..get a mbp 15 inch if youre gonna carry it around...get a 17 if ur not

  • @allanxpoe83 k thanks for the help, ill get a 17 inch :)

  • @allanxpoe83 why would u buy a mbp if you dont intend on carrying it around? get a 20 inch i mac..... stupid mac users

  • @nickkk420 same reasons why people buy a big ass pc bc they use it at home...i carry my 15 inch mbp pro to all the clubs and events i dj in so there u go...

  • @allanxpoe83 that was more me sayin if your gonna get a 17 inch laptop pc or mac and dont intend on transporting it you mayaswell get a i mac or giant ass pc becasue its gonna work better fasters and be upgradable....( sort of on imac)

  • Look they click and dragged files!

  • I don't want someone else transferring my files? I got like a terabyte worth of porn on my hard drive =S

  • The advertising is really genius in a way. Compare all of PC's worst flaws with Mac's greatest advantages. On top of that the situation lets Mac speak on behalf of PC and have them say whatever they want to him to say. Instead of a refute to a flaw he'll just shy up or act immature. Mac knows one of the best advertisement strategies which is to manipulate the information they give to the audience.

  • Why is everyone so obsessed with whether or not they can play video games on a Mac? I'm making video games on my Mac :)

  • i know right!!! it sounds like they are weirdos who sit playing video games all day :)

  • if someone likes mac and pc and dont know what to buy, JUST GET A FUCK!NG LINUX

  • @lol9392 yeah get a linux if you don't want to play any games on said linux computer.

  • Because Mac users are too stupid to transfer files

  • If you can afford it, get a mac. If you wanna play all games, get a pc. If you want style, get a mac

  • Everyone get Linux instead!

  • @uncommonguy4521 Lunix sux.

  • @hackking002 You sux.

  • @uncommonguy4521 Aman, Why pay for a UNIX OS when I can get one for free......

  • @zexx

exactly, and the claim that os x is even remotley like UNIX is laughable

i have ran linux for about 6 years and i have had ONE kernel panic, caused by a graphic driver.

os x's kernel is a microkernel which apparently was a nightmare to perfect.

  • Fear of switching? Ya fear of becoming a mac fag

  • These ads just tell me that Mac do great commercials. Everyone I know still buys PC.

  • I can understand why people would like a Mac. People who just don't know anything about computers. But a pc can do everything a Mac can do for a cheaper price, plus I can build a PC from scratch and custom design it to the way I see fit. I could easily build a PC for half the price of a Mac and have it twice as decent. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @darkshotmaker True, very true. People who want a computer to maybe play 53 different types of Solitaire should get a Mac. The rest of the world buys PCs.

  • My fear is going bankrupt after buying a Mac. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @smacky2 there is something called ebay. use it.
