Yes, we can prove the tooth fairy does not exist because we all know it was humans who came up with the concept to tell children when their teeth feel out. And with a single plane ticket to the north pole we can show you Santa doesn't exist. God doesn't exist because if we were not here to talk about it then there would be no worship. Just an endless vacuum called the Universe.
Hell is a vile, abusive, disgusting concept. God buys love & loyalty with torture? A Gandhi, Teresa, Mandela would never think of torturing their enemies, whereas a Saddam, Hitler, Stalin would. This is the company that God keeps? Karma & Rebirth is the better, non-violent way. You are not punished, nor are you simply forgiven because you begged enough. The most important aspect of Karma is that you are held accountable for your actions, you are reborn, given another chance to make amends.
Universe is so complex, vast, and beyond human understanding yet scientists say it all happened by accident. Why are we the only living things in this vast unviverse why is their nothing like us anywhere else in the universe we must have some purpose. Also why for some reason the only creature on our planet that can change environment and build things? Why with an environment based on balance, why can we alone shift that balance in whatever way we want?
When atheists can answer those questions with 100% undeniable proof I will renounce god. Finally a great man once said "absence of proof is not proof of absence" and "any claim made without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence".
@J3rEmY17 We hardly know our own planet, you are talking as if you know about the universe? Noone can prove God doesn't exist - can you prove Santa doesn't exist? Or the Tooth Fairy?
@ramaraksha01 on the contrary we know very little which is why I think it is foolish to say their is no god. Also why are you arguing with me beause from what I can tell you believe as do I that you can't prove or disprove the existence of god.
@J3rEmY17 You are right on most things we agree. Sorry about that. But just because we seem to be the only intelligent beings so far as we know doesn't mean that there aren't others out there. That doesn't prove that God exists.
@J3rEmY17 the only reason there is the idea of a god is because of peoples imaginations and ideals. God is what is commonly known as a conspiracy theory or idea in that it cannot be disproven and all the "evidence" which "supports" this idea just, in the minds of religious people reinforces the existence of god.
@turtonmatt The theory of relativity was once only an idea, one that came from the imagination of a man named Einstein. Ideas have been proven true, conspiracy theories from time to time have been proven true as well for example project MKULTRA. There is really no evidence to prove or disprove his existence, it really comes down to your own choice based on what you believe if he exists or not.
@J3rEmY17 If that's the case, then you can't disprove fairies, unicorns, santa clause, the loch ness monster, the easter bunny, zeus, apollo, harry potter, superman....
@dkthg You can disprove some of those things. For example santa can't possibly be real because the idea he rides on a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer is one not possible and two he couldn't possibly visit all the homes he needs to in one night. The Lochness Monster can't exist because there is not enough food in the lake to support it. The point of god is that the idea of it being exponentially more powerful and intelligent than a human makes it hard to prove anything about it.
@J3rEmY17 That makes NO sense! At the heart of it; all gods are IDEAS, they are a product of man's imagination just like santa clause, the easter bunny and the faires that live in my iphone. "The boogey man is a being more frightening and horrifying than anything a human can imagine, this makes it hard to prove anything about it." Same logic. And even then how can you believe in ONE god and discard ALL the others?
@dkthg None of those other ideas are abstract the details of each are clear and can easily be disproved but the details of god are not clear cut, god can be a being or an object (look at Merriam-Webster's definitions) or a complex chain of events. I can call the big bang god if I wanted to. The boogeyman hides in your closet or under the bed to scare the crap out of little kids which is alot more specific than god. I admit that I have no proof that god exists what is your proof?
@J3rEmY17 Sure, you can call anything you want "god" (money, sex, the bigbang) but that would be silly and downright idiotic because we already have names for these things. And just because you consider something "god" doesn't make it so, it's just YOUR opinion.(as you yourself has stated.) And yes; neither of us have proof that a "god" exists, but i understand that there are more logical reasons why a god WOULDN'T exist compared to why it would exist.
@dkthg So because we have names for things already we can't have synonyms? God is an idea that no one has proof of so my opinions on god are just as valid yours and since as I stated earlier since god is an abstract idea I could consider god to be anything from a star, or totem to something I couldn't begin to comprehend, I'll take the later. Because there is no proof everyone is truly agnostic with preferences. So you would be an agnostic atheist (assuming) and I an agnostic deist.
@J3rEmY17 No I totally AGREE. Because god is an abstract idea you can consider ANYTHING "god." Have fun. I just wanted to know if you would join me for a front row seat at the Coldplay concert in Chicago. The way Chris Martin sings, so beautiful....he must be GOD. No man can have a voice like that! FYI: I'm not an atheist at all, i'm a prog rock fan!
The incredible images in your video explains more than a dusty old "holy" book ever could. The whole god and jesus thing is a laughable excuse for an explaination of anything. It is unlikely that man kind will ever fully understand the universe.
We'll be wiped out long before that. Particulary as 99.9999% of all species are extinct... BTW, Human beings are also due to join that list at some point ! Forget man made nonsense religions... and LIVE FOR THE NOW !

(In the beginning )
There was no beginning, only a transformation of matter from the singularity, gone hyper.
