For the people that don't know: Kratos has 3 brothers and 1 sister, which only 1 of is his real brother. His real brother is Deimos, appearing in Ghost of Sparta. His half brothers are Hercules and Ares and his half sister is Athena. Kratos' real mom appears in Ghost of Sparta as well, so it is definitely not Hera, which is why Kratos is a demi-god and not a god.

i dont like how they depicted the river styx, it is supposed to be a dock in the begining and you are supposed to wait for Charon (the ferryman) and bribe him to take you to the underworld safely but if you couldnt pay you would have to swim, which took an eternity because the river goes around the underworld nine times, and once you got to the underworld you could start your torcher for your sins... yes i am a mytholigy nerd and am proud of it

It was a part of Fate. It was planned by Ares (the God of War) and foretold by the Oracle of Athens who hinted at him not to enter Athena's Temple where his family hid (but he was unaware of this)And went into the Temple killing everyone in sight with blind hatred. So blinded, he didn't even notice when he slit the throats of his wife and child.

Kratos kills him after take his key, by trough him to the stomach of the Hydra. I think we see him again when you face the Barbarian at the Island of Creation.

(The civilians were killed by the undeads despise the efforts of Kratos)

They changed things in the third game. In the first God of War, falling into the river Styx meant the end for the person. In GoW 3, it only weakens you.
