Honestly, this horse is just a crime against nature. This is an example of human beings breeding for an aesthetic that just IS NOT natural. Arabs have a naturally dished face- taking this far is just DISGUSTING and WRONG. It's like English bulldogs- serious breathing issue, potential under/over/cross bites and who knows what else. She looks like a seahorse... And that tiny head makes her body look huge. She's very pretty though, and at least she doesn't look to be in pain like other deformities.
'kimster110110' You need to do your homework before you say things that aren't true. Namusca is Russian breeding. You can look it up on the registry website. And her head WAS a birth defect as stated in earlier comments. None of her bloodlines ever produced heads like that, and she didn't either. Don't get me wrong... Nariadni and Muscat were great stallions. They produced some really nice horses. But YOU need to do your homework before you make statements that aren't true.
Omg, your right! Those stallions are pure Russian, and so is Namusca! (of course though, like duh, Man do I feel like a dummy) the picture on the website, wow... I did not know it was that bad! Once I got a good look of her muzzle... it does look like what it is,... a defect! I also didn't know she was 25! and a grandmother! from the little research I did I learned quite a bit. I've seen Muscat before, and boy is he gorgeous, but before I learned they were related, I wouldn't have known, Thanks!

The mare had her leg wrapped around her nose while in the womb. She was born that way. It is not a defect that can be passed on. She is a sweet horse with a birth defect.
I agree. The bay at the beginning shows the classic dished face. That grey? looks like they left his muzzle in a jar until he was 6 months. IMO that is inhumane and out right disgusting. IF I had an Arab, she sure in the hell wouldn't be bred to that monstrosity. The foal would turn out to looking like lord only knows what.

Namusca passed away last year or 2007 I believe. It's really sad, she was so gorgeous, and she was also the most exotic Arabian Mare in the world.

Her foals are all normal, apparently her nose isnt genetic. Also, she's a mare, not a stallion.
