I can remember the moment of seeing this film, in Tempe Arizona. On the large screen, the sun sparkled on the ocean. The sense of being at the ocean, while living in a desert.... ahhh. And then, the movie unfolds. I also crewed a schooner, a few years earlier. The similarities end there. I bought the sound track, on cassette. I could hopefully meet a beatiful women and play that music. I'd play that music often. The cinematography in the movie is phenomenal. The light illuminates. mood.
