Sad situation...I got the feeling listening to his interview that he's passing himself off as the victim. His poor choices got him deported not the judge or homeland security. This wasn't his first run in with the law so he's been given multiple chances before. To top it off he's been collecting disability, money meant for truly disabled people all at the cost of American taxpayers. He looks perfectly capable of work to me. People that con the govt to get free handouts have no sympathy from me.
Well, he can't enter the United States period for atleast 20 years as his status stand with homeland security..and like he said his folks would come and visit him up in Canada but they can barely makes ends meet as it is back in Boston, so buying a plane tickets or driving all the way up there paying gas money isn't something they can afford. He wants to go back home with his family more than anything but he can't afford lawyers to reverse his situation...he's got nothing but clothes now
Can't his family make the effort to come see him? or is that not allowed either? It just does not sound right to me at all. There has to be more to this than just his drinking problem, but that is just me. It seems like half truths here and avoiding the real truth...shrugs.
everybody's got something, weatherer it a vice of habit or what have you. Ron, i wish you all my hopes and prayers, and wish i could help in a tangible way. my family and i will pray you're situation will change for the better.
the misery increases in this society daily because we turn AWAY from looking at it- their is a true catch 22 for you. As long as it isnt YOUR problem or someone you are close to, the problem essentially doesnt exist!
@CreatureLikeGod He's kicked out of the United States, not just out of the state of Massachusetts. And he said his wife was on life support, so I suspect there would be a problem for her to leave the country.
@CreatureLikeGod Sorry, I simply can't take you seriously. I'm sure moving your family across an international border with no car and no job would be a walk in the park for you, but others would find it a bit more difficult.
I am afraid our country is going to falling apart. I don't like it, but until we can do some house cleaning in DC, and teach our "leaders(?)" who they are working for more and more situations like this will become the norm.
@ezygong America has been falling apart for decades; each decade has distinguishable failures of the system as a whole. There will be no fixing it because the Power Elites were doing a controlled equity stripping and implementing police state measures to control the reaction.
America is completely gutted and Obama is finishing the job handed to him by Bush and Cheney. Only brainwashed Plastic Patriots still pray to the Old Idols as commanded by the political priests of TBN and Fox News.
I hear of many success of those who attend AA meetings as not only do they stay sober, but they improve their live style with a new career and has turned their life around again. There is hope for alcoholics attending AA meetings.
So he is a Canadian citizen who was illegally residing in Boston? What about aunt zaytuni of obama? However, why did he never apply for citizenship? Housekeeping issues always trip you up.
@cdw100 Because the U.S stopped being an immigration country in the 2000's. It's very very difficult to acquire Citizenship now. North America used to have many friends and less immigration regulation; but it has made enemies of its friends, and is war-mongering with other countries. Countries are afraid to befriend the U.S, and rightfully so.
Wow and I was upset over a cop following me and writing me a ticket for 3 stop sign violations? I tried to sleep outdoors tonight through this storm and I thought I would be chilling by the camp fire and that was not the case. As soon as it really started raining the winds sent rain under the tarp and if you don't pitch camp to compensate for wind rain and gravity you will not be comfortable. I stayed out there till the rain stopped that was just 3 hours was dry but no way I could sleep.

If his family loves him so much why don't they simply leave Boston and move to another state with him and start over?
