When Simon cut her, I was completly shocked especially since she's no doubt, the most talented in the group. You can tell he did it on purpose. Simon is playing a cruel game. It's too obvious Melanie is going to win, and that's not good for the competition & the ratings. So he planned this unexpected plot. Him sitting at that table with his assistent and a cam happened to be, "I made a mistake'. Really Simon, really bad acting. You knew all along u were going to do this. Too cruel, poor girl.
Simon's masterplan : 5 million for Melanie and she will forgive him eventually, and top ratings 4 the show. A win-win situation.
You know they're good when you get goose bumps. She's FABULOUS. So far, for me, it's Melanie and Stacey. Good luck to both, but I think each of them will be signed and are well on the way to becoming (at least, for Stacey) super-stars.

Simon is playing a cruel game. It's too obvious Melanie is going to win, and that's not good for the competition & the ratings. So he planned this unexpected plot. Him sitting at that table with his assistent and a cam happened to be, "I made a mistake'. Really Simon, really bad acting. You knew all along u were going to do this. Too cruel, poor girl.
Simon's masterplan : 5 million for Melanie and she will forgive him eventually, and top ratings 4 the show. A win-win situation.

If you asked 10 people if they liked this song; they'd probably say "no"; can she sing? Absolutely, it's the song that was wrong. I don't think she was exploited at all. I think Simon did the right thing - said he made a mistake and then made it right. Remember it's The "X Factor". You have to have it all.

@TheCartagena4 - I agree that 4Shore deserved a spot over the Brewer Boys but in terms of marketability the Brewer Boys pick made more sense. It's not like it was a head to head pick. Paula was already going to pick Stereo Hoggz so I doubt the producers wanted two R&B groups.

The producers should go ahead and give Melanie her $5 million contract and let her move forward in life. No one is close to the superstar talent this lady demonstrates. Everyone else is competing for 2nd place.

Melanie Amaro, has vocal skills the others do not in this competition, her tone-sound is contemporary, bottom line.. she will succeed with or without the show. she is amazing, she just needs to believe in herself more.. she has national exposure now, she will get many offers for record deals.. it was great to witness a star being born, If she gets cut from the show..ILL have no desire to watch anymore. the other girls in her catagory are not in Melanies' league. She is a cutt above the rest..
