  • wow your good man how long you been playin?

  • haha YEAH MAN... YEAH!!!!! I've been watchin a wack of your vids after first discovering you doing "Miss Ohio" and buddy, lovin it all, subscribed :)

  • i feel like you'd hear parts of this arrangement in tom and jerry cartoons

  • wow, really impressive! in fact i love your vids. I just happened to notice you rarely use your pinky playing solo's. I understand its hard to use but if you develop your pinky it is way easier if you play pickin' songs.

    anyway love your vids! Leroy

  • Fantstic job !! Very creative leads.

  • You do great playing this on the guitar. I play it on piano and organ and plan on trying it on banjo and fiddle.

  • haha i think i love you :D

  • Get a looper and do this again!!!!

  • Dude, how about recording your rhythm part on your PC, then playing it back as you play the melody along with it? Lots of people do that. You play both of these parts so well, it'd sound cool. (You could feel free to mention that it's you doing the rhythm too.)

  • You are a very fine guitarist! Really enjoyed this!

  • WOW

  • Good LORD. What are you doing now? You MUST be playing professionally.

  • Ah not cool. You just made we want to throw my guitar away and never play again. Haha, I'm checking out your videos and you play amazing man.

  • ok ok ok. i don't even remember if i've commented on this one before... if i have, oh well~ uh, if you every come to SF on a Wednesday... gypsy jazz night at Cafe Trieste in North Beach... they'll die... they'll want to adopt you lol...

  • I am sure you have heard of Ian Thomas a superb musician and songwriter. This really taps into his style. If you haven't heard or seen do both and it will really show some additional flair that can be done with the style flatpicking.

  • Superb.

  • good job kid, you look like a young steve howe

  • Excellent! I'm putting a collage of this tune with your rhythm track backing up the lead. If it comes out acceptable I'll send it to you...

  • Is that the one that took you about 45 minutes to pick out?

  • i mean i decided i loved it in five minutes, but proceeded to play it for 2 hours before i got it.

  • by "pick out" i didn't mean "choose", i meant learn. Still, it's fairly infuriating.

  • oh, heavens no! that song took me quite a while... hours on the last two leads.

  • Don't those Dx-1's sounds nice?

  • yes, but this is a DR.

  • DR? Does it have laminated back and sides?

  • yes, but a solid top and a solid rosewood bridge and fingerboard. I think its a great combination of volume and tone.

  • no not free of error but very nicely done And the ending is best of all

  • man i know the same tune we should play together dont ask me how

  • Well done as always! Josh is talented, smart, and humble - what a great combination to see in a young man. Great things are to come his way, I'm sure.

  • haha. These are good comments here Josh.

Can't wait to see you play out here when you're on tour! Well, for now you finish your school work, but later... yeah!

  • be my husband! :]

  • ur so cute! lol

  • josh!

  • You played it spot on. Perfect. Amazing video quality and great sounding guitar too. You must have a good video cam.

  • Very nicely done, Josh.

  • Fantastic! Being a banjo player, >.> i cheat i use 3 fingers and you kick ass and use 1 ! :D Great job!

  • I've always loved this song and your arrangement is great!
