I am amazed how gentle Richard is to this guy. What I never liked about Dawkins is how quickly he loses his temper, making himself look like one of the people he's fighting against. But in this video he's as calm as he's convincing. You can see that he actually feels sorry for the interviewer's ignorance. That's what real scientist should be like. Now I have even more respect for mr. Dawkins, god bless him lol

I don't think it's useless to argue with theists about anything. It is possible to light a bulb in their heads. I think your stance is defeatist and harmful, but I understand where you are coming from. I too feel the frustration of explaining the same thing for the hundredth of time, things that I understood perfectly well or occurred to me naturally in my early childhood, but once you get to that level just sit back, take a deep breath and come back once you are fine.

I know he doesn't pretend to be a preacher, but what a brutal passage to reference accidentally, even more ironic given his gentle nature throughout the interview. :P

Correct. Jesus is an evil asshole dozens of times in the bible, but since the good things outnumber the bad things people conveniently skip over his evils. Even most atheists have a misconception about jesus being the good guy.
