I'd like to know what caused this to happen. I thought this was a good idea for a faucet, but ONE time of this happening is too much for me. I want 100% reliability. Who wants to be gone on a two week vacation and come back to find the kitchen sink has been running? Even worse, what if something was clogging the sink?
That's why I'd like to know ALL the possible reasons for this malfunction BEFORE I consider buying one.

this is probably happening because your isolation pad isn't installed correctly and the electronic solenoid is shorting to the metal of the sink.
