Both of my parents are in education and I know from them how challenging it can be as a career. Thank you so much for staying with it, especially in an urban environment. We need more like you.

Hi what is your name? Do you teach special education?

@DeaneRenata No I am not a teacher,I had LD and I am a baby boomer,There was no help in my time.Teachers told me I could do better if I would just try harder.Told there was no such thing as LD.As I got older people looked down on me because they did not understand. Community college asked me to leave and never come back.

Holding down a job was challenging. I got made fun of for being slow because they did not understand. I always felt I don't have the same rights as my non LD peers. Take care:)
