  • Like the Beach Boys song: "First gear, it's alright... Second gear, I lean right... Third gear, hang on tight... Faster, it's alright..."

  • Super like! Super plane! I wish I was there! Thanks for sharing.

  • seems like the pilot floored the....... well......... throttle :)

    tremendous acceleration

  • so what?

  • I think i'm in love...A<380!

  • Why are people flighting about what airplane is better? Who gives a shit? Honestly people are fucking stupid.

  • @UntitledKirk u mean some people

  • @airjet491 Nope, I mean all people. People = shit.

  • @UntitledKirk calling urself shit?

  • Focused in this bird so hard that I completely missed all the "bras and skirts" flying all over the field caused by its jetblast. Had to replay again. LMFAO!!!

  • Is there a more gorgeous turbofan sound available on Youtube? If any give me the link pls!

  • @hagst27

It gives me a massive boner just thinking about it.

  • For the past ten years Airbus has sold and delivered more airliners than Boeing. Their backlog is currently much higher than Boeing's and they have booked twice as many new orders so far this year. There must be some reasons?

Oh, and in terms of fatal crashes for 2011 Boeing is beating Airbus by three to zero.

  • Airbus is like the biggest mistake on earth,, pilots are learning to fly,, an airbus is the pilot in command not the pilot himself,, thats why it is not failsafe and that's why i love boeing,, they keep the pilot in charge at any point

  • @xlegendzx3 I ve got a different version than yours. Have you already heard of pilot errors? did you know that under stress human beings suck at making rational decisions? 21st century is all about fly by computers-aircrafts.

  • it sounds like an angry hairdryer eating a blender

  • Takeoff blast? Can anyone explain how it works?

  • that is one short take off...impressive

  • Wow! She's climbing like a homesick angel

  • cool

  • if its boeing i aint going haha

  • Wow.....hebat sekali!

    Salam dari Indonesia....

  • I am the 29th disliker, HAHA take that bitches.

  • @trechan yep and you also are the 29th american! could boeing be on the wane? feeling sorry you guys. Airbus is way ahead and you guys know it. That thing upstages the still great 747. sorry. Europe rules.

  • @backpackerable The onboard Fly-by-wire system is shit and pilots know that. Airbus pilots are known for their skills not up to par compared to other pilots because Airbus aircraft give pilots training wheels. If a pilot is a pilot, then he should be trusted with knowing how to fly, not to be guided along the way. Less margin for error? I disagree, pilots are put under a lot of responsibility and are supposed to work under conditions. The only thing I like about the aircraft is pax space.

  • @trechan Airbus and Boeing are going down 2 different paths. You might be right on the fly-by-wire thing. I never flew any of them and most likely never will. But I get to talk with A330 pilots on a regular basis and they seem to love their aircraft. I get yout point, pilots should be able to perform under strain. The problem is what if a critical event arises for which they are not ready for?as a passenger I would rely more on an airbus. the A380, wich provide its passengers with lots of room

  • by the time this comes to the end of its service 757s 747s 777s will still be flying airbus planes dont last like boeing planes!!

  • It looks so slow...

  • FAKE AIRPLANE

  • @TheHedgehogPilot explain yourself

  • Comment removed

  • Nice rate of climb!

  • @w5cdt Yeah but it was empty !!

  • It looks like it was a 3 steps thrust (something like 40%, 60%, 88%). Is is the case? Anyway, it sounded so good!

  • @iloveairfrance Yeah. I caught that, too. I thought he was at max power at the .03sec mark. Then there's more thrust at .08sec, and yet more thrust at .14sec. This is one of the best engine sound videos out there. Even still, nothing will ever beat the sweet sound of fully amped GE90's - it's like an ear-gasm.

  • In any earlier century, this monstrosity could only have floated on the high seas. But in the 21st, it soars as high as 43,000 feet, at nearly 600 mph, while carrying between 500 and 800 people. Stand in front of it, and you will be flattened. Stand beside it, and you might get knocked down, burned, or deafened!

  • I'd like to see what would happen to some bus or truck standing behind the engines as it takes off.

  • wow airbus sucks

  • wow very fast take offf

  • wow...

  • for the largest passenger jet, it does take a short disatnce to takeoff

  • the engine whine on this is incredible, especially at 14 seconds when it goes full throttle, what a rush it would be to see it in person.

  • @slingblayde Nothing compares to the sound of a Rolls Royce powered L1011 back in the day.....

  • cool

  • Spectacular

  • meanwhile in australia....

  • Flying hotel

  • @Azuregamo or flying village. it's unbelievable how short runway a380 needs to take off.

  • Amazing what us humans can create!

  • airbus are dangerous

  • European piece of enginiering! good job!

  • @julesgymnast

I think not: the French/British Concorde supersonic liner was the first fully production aircraft with fly by wire.... (first flight 1969, in service in 1976)...and this is not all, it was the first with carbon brake disks, variable engine intakes, etc, etc...a realy flying laboratory at top of the technology at this times...

  • i can see it now, an a380 gunship

  • The killer engine of an A380...

  • And that is how we do that. Beat that USA hah hah hah hah.

  • @cgordon6969 on the airbus is there a manual override?

  • @julesgymnast actually i think youll find the first Fly-By-Wire (Digital) Aircraft was a modified F-8 Crusader :/

  • @joshuan542 The analog came in 1958, namely the Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow. Years ahead of its' time.

As for the TSR-2, that was decades ahead.

  • talk about eat my dust XD

  • OMG DID THOSE POEEPLE DIED

  • @comcfi omg are you is a retard??

  • I like boeing better airbus just copied them

  • Beautiful sound!!

  • awesome ...

  • Neat video :-D I was sandblasted by a Russian Mig 15 at a Hamilton Ontario airshow..hehe.

  • Airbust 380--have't sold any!

  • @inkyboyz haters gonna hate stupid american.

  • @dmfreak what are you saying airbus is a american company.. just becuse its in europe,, so check it out find out it is sorry

  • @dmfreak Stupid American?! A little rude?

  • @inkyboyz qantas you stupid dick

  • gawd, im an interior mechanic , and i cannot imagine being the guy who has to take that thing apart when it comes in for a heavy check ..

  • ca. 368.000 Horsepower. I love that sound

  • Punch it!!!

  • it is not the jetblast , it's WAKE TURBOLECE

  • LOVEEEEEEEEE THAT SPOOLUP!

  • 19 dislikes = 19 Boeing employees haha

  • @29Gixxer

    so true:D hahahahahaha

  • @29Gixxer Boeing is the way to go!

  • @29Gixxer id rather be a boeing employee ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @29Gixxer shut up girls

  • just when I thought they were spooled up to Max, they spooled up more, than Again!

  • Airblast 380.

  • Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end when I hear those four big Trents spooling up. As impressive a machine as the mighty 747.

  • @bagpopuk

Except that is something like 20 times more silent, and it has the great idea not to wake me up in the middle of the night, unlike the 747.

Problem is, as I can't hear it, I can't know when it passes over my house and can't watch if fly.

  • i just loved the flight.... its freakin huge ;-) and nice hotties as hostess too :-)

  • WOWWWWWW, what a BLASTTTTT!

  • At 0:14 they blast thoses 4 big boys into full screaming throttle kewl!

  • That would have been cool if those engines had sucked up a few people on takeoff and shot their blood all over the crowd. But since it didn't I give this video an epic FAIL!!!

  • whoa! the sound is too loud 4 the cam's mic to handle lol

  • why dont they put generator windmills next to the runway?

  • @cjellwood hey a new way of energy!!

  • i have been on a a380 e times

  • Petroleum rules

  • Advice : dont mess with the A380... ;)

  • Wait until the stretch version of the 380 comes out in 6-7 years then it won't look so fat and stubby. Rolls Royce XWB's with 95,000 lb thrust (A350/1000) will power the monster. 700 px without being crammed like sardines. There will only be a few flights from London to NY necessary. The future for hub to hub airports.

Yes, I know, GE fans, that the 777ER has 115,000 Ib thrust engines but they are too heavy for a quad. The wings would need to be substantially modified.

  • 0:25 da sagt so ein spasst: Ich liebe dich! :D

  • it looked as it were in TNCM taking off with all those ppl on the beach!!!! =D

  • You have to catch it from an angle...diagonally to like this dude! Notice i said dude cuz dis beast is to ugly to be a she. Its smaller sister's A340-3/5/6 are extremely kriss lukin doe.

  • airbus = socialist ugly design

    boeing = capitalist fialr

  • batman!!!

  • I know how big those A380 engines are. But they all look rather small compared to that shockingly huge aircraft. It's faintly amazing that something that enormous can actually leave the earth's surface, easily and repeatedly.

  • It's a giant roaring whale! RUN!

  • Asi voy a despegar.... rumbo a la ONU! :)

  • ugly thing

  • all deaf now, how much we gonna lay a bet xD

  • The captain said " Later suckers, eat my dust! " ... And they did.

  • wow !!! what a quick rotation

  • What a beast

  • @dunlrock look at a antonov that's takeoff, THAT'S AMAZING! but this is nice 2 ;)

  • I didn't know that Buildings could fly... xD

  • Taking A380 will make wait longer for your baggage as more passengers are flying together...

  • @stannywang That would sound logical but is not. In fact, when I flew from Paris to Dubai on Emirates, I just had to wait for 15 minutes to get all my bags. In fact, I've waited for over 45 minutes at Roma Fiumicino getting off a 737...Go figure !!

  • Lol. The woman with the pushchair knew what was coming with the blastback.

  • this vid rules...so hard to imagine that this stand almost 8 stories tall

  • wie steil der hochfliegt :O

  • fuck thats a lot of power!

  • cool

  • Ugly sound... the 777's and 747's GE are much better

  • @MrVielanda RR engines are the best !

Trent 900 i think is the best one's and there on the A380 :)

  • @MrVielanda WHAT. U crazy. B747-400 CFM-80 aint got sh*t on the B747-400 RR RB-211H/HT/G. Rolls Royce owns GE n PW whenever it comes to noise and performance especially on the 777 and 747. And it looks neat. Trent 500/700/800/900/1000/XWB. LOL. Get to know b

  • @MrVielanda HAhaha, you are jealous

  • in the airshow 2 years ago.. sunny day.. everyone stand under the wings for shelter.{me too}

  • HOLY CRAP!!! such a giant only took 28 sec. to take off... man

  • @myR12006 Its only goin to paris

  • THIS IS AWESOMME!

    Amazing Plane

  • Wake turbulence behind that bird must be awful

  • Great Video.....isn't it amazing Technology !

  • wtf that was an extremely short takeoff!

  • Wow that´s why I got an aviation enthusiast ! An absolutely awesome aircraft ! I envy the cameraman for this experience.

  • music to my ears

  • Wow! That was the blast from that Airbus? It almost sounds like a C-5A Galaxy when taxiing down the runway. Do you know what I miss? Four-engine passenger jetliners. Most of today's are two or three engine jetliners. Remember the 707's and 747's? And the McDonnell Douglas DC-8's?

  • orgasmic sound........

  • Each engine produces 50t of thrust. Am I wrong?

  • yea the airbus is huge i landing at jfk on one of these things i felt like a queen lol they r hugh and the 787 r great also!!

  • That's 320,000 plus pounds of thrust for you.

  • i heard that when one of those lands the airport basically has to shutdown due to their large size.

  • @buschbeer100 Don't think so. I've flow on the A380 out of Melbourne, SIngapore and Narita and there where other planes taking off and landing from other run ways at the same time. I do now that they can only fly from Airports that have had there gates modified to accommodate the wing span and I have never seen two A380's at arrival gates in the same area before but that could be a coincidence.

  • @aussielung it probably is an coincidence as only 30 have been delivered.

  • @blake5200 Thats true, the A380 fleets are small. I thought more than that had been delivered though.

  • @blake5200 boeing addict I suppose, explain us why your 787 is so late too ... Oh, i ll tell you why because boeing promessed exceptionnal characterics that they can't build ... the plane will be delivered soon but heavier, slower, and less environment friendly as they told us. I love Airbus, I love Boeing, they both have their goods and bads ...

  • Boeing and Airbus are both amazing aircaft manfacurers - if one fails it would be bad for the other and ultimately it would be passengers who would lose out. I think anyone would be proud to work for either company.

  • i love the sound!

  • I rather see Concorde than this fat jumbo.

  • My friend is a mechanic for United Airlines and he tells me that Airbus aircraft are junk.

  • i dont really know where u got that info from. prob from a JUNKY

  • yes big safer faster junk

your friend is a junk dude..

  • I was there :))

it only feels like two years ago

  • NOTHING Boeing can do, to compete with this SUPREME GODZILLA of an aircraft...!!! It rules the skys like RODAN....LOL

  • If you ever see this up in real life, trust me it's giant size is unbelievable.

  • I've seen it in Berlin, summer '08 at the ILA fair... more than 200 people and 3 hot dog booths were gaining some shadow under it's left wing!!!

  • @dunlrock ive seen one of these at heathrow take off and it looks amazing

  • @dunlrock That's what she said.

  • @dunlrock yea i know

  • @dunlrock i did and it is one giant ass plane.

  • it must be called airBOSS 380 !!

  • @elchito86 oh no what a stupid name!!

  • @elchito86 AirCoffinA380

  • I love the sound of GE Trent engines!!!

  • it's Rolls Royce, not GE.

  • Sry, you're right....maybe my last beer was too much:)

  • Is the 787 made by the same Boeing that stated on TV that fly by wire (that Airbus pionered on a commercial airplane) gives no advantage????????????????????.

  • @bobbj77 that will be the ex that said that it has no advantage over other systems. NOW they state thet they use fly by wire in all aircraft!!!!!!!!!!!. eat humble pie boeing, the French beat you in the tech market

  • @bobbj77 my ass, the 727 has better tech than an a380

  • @SpartanW98 I would have to agree with you there. There are some glitches that if not monitored on the A380 can lead to some nasty scares and near misses that the 727 does not have. Qantas had an issue with them just last year and the investigation lead back to Airbus;s tech design. But the actually body of the Airbus is damn impressive compared to Boeing. Boeing will have an Airbus rival soon enough though.

  • @aussielung i agree. airbus is truly impressive but they need to do something more than build the worlds biggest plane. its about quality, not a flying 2 story building.

  • @SpartanW98 But I must admit, I so do love flying in the A380. Although at landing I miss the shudder and bumps that you get from some of the older Boeing planes. I think thats why I like landing at Chang'i when your flying in over Malaysia because the steep decent gives me that little thrill I miss out on when touching down.

  • @aussielung i have never flown on an a380, although i sat in one, it was the emirates one and it was very nice

  • 787s are a lot cheaper than A380s...Airbus still has to compete with the 748 variant and the 787 has to compete with the A350.

  • What about the real costs, including consumption, return on investment, etc.?

  • i went from dubai to newyork in this

good experience but the boarding and un-boarding took a hella long time

  • dAMN MAN: THIS IS REAL SHIT

    SENASTIONEL

  • Amazing how steep that big ass plane can climb. A big whale flying like a Jet fighter lol. :)

  • i like the smell of kerosine in the morning

  • you do? because i hate it.. i cant breath..
