  • You sooo don't get the point off the Sisters. They minister to their community and raise money for charity!

  • Looks like a nice service! I liked seeing the congregants having coffee with them afterwards. No one LOOKS like they considered themselves "invaded". And that's a very liberal/gay-friendly chapter of the Church, anyway. It might have gone differently at vatican City, or St. Pat's in Manhattan.

  • "Those...who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion."

Tho only problem, in order to enforce this, someone has to make the JUDGMENT of whether some individual(s) are "obstinately persisting in manifest sin," and JUDGING is also a sin acc. to "God's Holy Word."

  • @96rorrim Judge is a sin when you judges somebody's hearts and motivations, but it is clear in this video thate they don't have the respecto to the Holy Sacrament. Just whatching the way they are wear it's enough to denied the Communion.

That's why that Archbishop commited a horrible sin.

    And forgive my bad english.

  • I love the all the spin around this video. Fox's Bil 'O'Really?' loves to call this a 'Gay invasion.' If two people are an invasion, it's clear to see why the invasion of Iraq/Afghanistan hasn't worked. So what is the problem? They took communion? They may be Catholic- and besides, there is a sign out in front of this church which says 'visitors welcome.' Is the problem cross dressing? The priest in the dress didn't seem to mind, wasn't Saint Joan of Arc a cross-dresser too- men's clothes?

  • I would say in this case since its in a gay district of the city the Catholic church should either except that gays will attend or move the church to another district. Also, they are right in saying that they shouldnt receive a "Roman Catholic" eucharist. However, Im sure there is at least one Episcopal/Anglican chuch in the area whose practice is nearly identicle who would be happy to give the eucharist to anyone.

  • if i was at church and i seen this, my firsts reaction is the mocking the church......i live he in san Francisco all my life and have never sen this at church- and i dont like this at all

  • From what saw in the is video they were very respectful, you can hear at the end a man thanking them for coming. Jesus did say to come as you are, only he can see what was in their hearts at that moment. God would rather have someone come to church to hear the message dressed like that then not hear it all. thats the problem with the church these days its all about outward appearances and about what we think motivates people. Wonder why the whores are getting in to heaven before the rest?

  • They were not there with good intent they were their to mock Catholicism.

  • @richypc how do you know this? I am part of this group and we do not mock Catholicism or any other religion. A lot of us are Catholic. Please learn the facts before you judge or assume

  • yeah, like this was the worst thing to happen in a catholic church. why don't you worry about your pedophile priests and your history of genocide.

  • Well I guess they could get their needs met by the gay clergy ? This was gad pride weekend and these are drad queen

"nuns" (more traditional than New Order cult nuns I must say ) These are the fruits of the rotten tree called vatican II

people unwilling to admit that Rome has lost the faith just have ill will and like the

illegal modernism . I cannot have my

valid Tridentine Mass that was guarnteed to me for all time . This proves they

are not the Church .I will debate anyone

  • SYR=Anti-Semite and hater. Your own words:

"We need to Crusade again and wipe out Zionism, Freemasons, Islam, and the rest including Protestants ! Put them all in austraila or somewhere and let them be ! They can all worship Satan together"

You need to check yourself into a mental ward.

  • Was it EVER investigated that the "sisters" were actual communicants in the church...? That perhaps they were their to get their spiritual needs met?

  • And to think that I was denied the Eucharist because of my divorce. The Holy(?) Mother Church has seen better days.

  • @vizavis123 Apart from 'clothes' why should they be denied? This isn't really a valid reason to prevent communion because its not a sin. Your situation isn't exactly about externals (clothes and bit of make-up) is it?

  • As much as people may oppose their lunacy, God says to love everyone.

  • YES WE ARE TO LOVE EVERYONE FOR

THEIR SOUL. We are not to condone

heresy like this . B16 is a heretic and

allows this . b16 says Kennedy was a

valid "catholic" also b16 says the Orthodox heretics need not accept Papal

authority and they are the "second lung" of Frankenchurch. b16 will not convert Lutherans and Jews either so we know he is not a valid Pope. I think the only people he has ex communicated have been people trying to keep the faith .

    SSPX (go figure)

  • All I can say is God have mercy on their souls.

  • @01nevag1 and may God have mercy on yours! Come as you are...who said that? JESUS...this is how we are and we come to worship HIM

  • this is sick :/

  • So would San Francisco be considered a modern day Sodom or Gomorrah?

  • This is GREAT

  • This is 100% approved of by the heretics in the

New Order Cultism ! NOBODY GOT IN TROUBLE

In a real Catholic Church like mine we would have made them leave IF they got in ...

A real Priest will NOT give Communion to a stranger in most cases .

  • A real priest won't suck a little boy's cock either.....but your church's leaders didn't seem to care about that until it was made public.

  • @deuxchem - i know MANY good Roman Catholic priests , bishops and deacons an your lumping them together as one is no different then the woman who is robbed at gun point by a black man and then spends the rest of her life hating ALL black people. OPEN your mind brother.

  • @SAYYOURROSARY - funny that Christ would have given ANYTHING to a stranger if the stranger asked for it. Guess your not down with Jesus... oh well, your loss.

  • What these "sisters" are doing is CERTAINLY NOT the way to bridge the gap between the gay community and conservative churches!!!

  • The Contraversy is that thease "nuns" who where receving communion wrongly, and this can even be considerd a deep deep sacralige. The Ar.Bp. can possibly be excommunicated for this.

  • I think though that it has to be mentioned. If he is an archbishop... he would understand Catholic doctrine and law much more than a Layperson.

  • I assume that you are not a Catholic (pardon for asking). If I am correct than a Layperson would know more and understand catholic doctrine better than a non catholic.

  • Some Archbishops choose to openly defy the church. The Pope has reiterated the Church's stance. I would think His Holiness knows Catholic doctrine better than an Archbishop, no?

  • are they attending mormon services too?

  • The SPI are moral and charitable people. I don't want to pass judgement on them. However, they were welcomed into the Mass and they weren't told to leave because that goes against love. They will always be welcomed any time they come to Mass. It was God's work that they came to Mass and the Mass would not have been the same without them. But still, many many Catholics and catecumens respectfully don't take communion so isn't it unkind of them to disregard such a welcome through their disrespect?

  • @Raffzeee On what ground should they not have communion? Are you guessing some sins here?

  • The Sisters of Perpetual indulgence are a jewel to America. These individuals have done many charitable works for decades. If you are criticizing them, you are missing their mission. I'm a former altar boy and 12 year grad from catholic school.

  • Hey Lauberd! This is standard proceedure at the false Vatican II alleged "church" Benedict XVI approves of this did you the alleged "catholics" welcome them? Shaking THEIR filthy hands. I would love to see them come to my Real Church they would be asked to leave once. After that they would be removed and jailed but we are Catholic NEW ORDER is not proven by this video. Vatican II cult members will burn with these people.

My Holy Priest will not give Communion if he does not KNOW you.

  • @SAYYOURROSARY - if your priest will not welcome any an all to the light of God then he is NOT a real priest nor a desciple of Christ not a loving man . Essentially, you are not a part of the Church Catholic, or Christianity, but of a Christian themed cult. Sorry to bring that to your attention

  • I have actually met Bishop Niederauer. He used to be the bishop of Utah before he was made an archbishop in California. He's not judgemental at all, and seems to be someone who still knows what the word Christianity means.

  • funny since I know plenty of "REAL" nuns that love them...

they do plenty of works of charity, just like nuns, they takes vows just as nuns...

    This bares being repeated:

So until you can show me just they are making a mockery shut up...

its no worse than people that dress as nuns and other people of the cloth for halloween

  • There is a very real difference between dressing up as a nun for halloween and attending church in drag. While they are in a state of mortal sin, they are not allowed to recieve the Eucharist, nobody is. That is the problem, not their colourful choice of costume (although that goes against Church ''dress code'')

  • but if you go by the teachings of the Church. all Sins are forgiven.

But ultimatly, you tell me how dressing up as Nun is sinful? What is sinful about it?

  • Sins can only be forgiven if one is truly sorry for them. Being truly sorry demands that the sinner strive not to repeat the offence.

These men dress as women, that goes against the dignity of both genders. The sin however is the sin of scandalisation. That these men actively promote the homosexual lifestyle and contraception whilst wearing a crude mockery of a nun's habit might lead people into thinking that homosexuality, cross dressing, and contraception are OK. For Catholics they are not.

  • I should also add, once again that all sins must be confessed before ANYONE recieves the Eucharist. Also, if these two men are not Catholics, then they are not allowed to recieve the Eucharist, doing so would again be the sin of scandalisation.

  • I seriously must ask this and don't get me wrong... but a lot of those beliefs are not found in the Bible. they are traditions that built up after many interpretations of the Bible. They came from traditions built on interpretations of interpretations of the Bible. I also would pose a question... IF your own spirituality and your own sense of God is just that, why is it so important to codeify others spirituality? why is it not okay to cross dress?

  • The Church has very specific rules. That is one of them, it is not me codifying others spirituality, it is me saying that accoriding to the religion that this church belongs to, it is innapropriate. They would not perform salaat in a masjid wearing hijab (prayers in a mosque with headscarf) as this would be deemed innapropriate.

As for scandalisation not being in the bible

Mark 9:41, the word there is actually translated from the Greek as scandalize.

  • We Catholics belive that the waffer that the Archbishop gave to the nuns when consercrated at the hands of a Priest/Bp. etc, with the auctual words of the Canon being used becomes the Body of Christ under the apperance of that white host. Christ did the same at the last supper and gave the authority for the rightly ordained to do so.

The Rule is only catholics are allowed to recieve communion, and only catholics who show the appropriate reverance and did a confession at least that month.

  • Actually we must confess any mortal sins before recieving the Eucharist.

  • no you said there was a dress code, but never mentioned it was diffrent for men and women, I just miss understood you

  • No harm done.

  • interesting...so the women that wear cute dresses that happen to show their shoulders are going to hell now too...

  • I never said they'd go to hell, and I didn't mention women. Men can't show shoulders or knees either. Stop looking for persecution where there is none.

  • really...and can you tell me what this dress code is, incase I decide to go...

  • Sure thing, officially dress to church is the same as when one is in the Vatican, your shoulders must be covered, as must your knees, and everywhere in between. This is not personal opinion it is a known rule.

Also going in drag is frowned upon. As is wearing excessive makeup and/or painting your face as the men have done. Men should not have head coverings in church either.

Other than that the general rule is modesty.

    God bless.

  • so THOSE TWO sisters, who ARE catholic( I know that for a fact because I know those two sisters)...cant take communion...so there is a dress code to mother church...

  • Apologies if this reply occurs more than once. But yes, church does have a dress code. That is nothing to do with why they should not be recieving the Eucharist (not ''taking communion'').

  • and you cant say that they are making a mockery of catholics...if you actually look, they have aspects of ALL religions...so really you would have to say that they are making fun off everyone...

I have freinds that are buddist nuns, nothing to do with the mother church...they are nuns for the buddist relegion, if they can be and ARE nuns...how can you say that these men,and women also, can not be. they have no define relegion so...so YES they are real nuns, just not convintual ones

  • They accepted the Eucharist. They are not allowed to do that. They are mocking the Eucharist, a Catholic institution.

  • @shedtic - the Eucharist is a institution of JESUS , not of the Catholic Church

  • I was visting with the sisters one day and a nun walked by the shop we were at andstarted chit chatting.

"I have a strong enough faith in my beliefs that I can not only examine them closely but laugh at them too!"

She also thank them for helping keep the image of the nun alive in the archbishop's mind, something he tended to forget in his day-to-day duties. Her only complaint was that we got to express ourselves more freedom than she did and she hoped we were grateful for our gifts.

  • ok...does ANYONE know who the sister even are?

Being that I am joing the order I can tell you that they take vows and actaully do ALOT of good...

They raise money for charity that needs it and are more than just "men dressed as nuns" they ARE nuns....

  • Wrong. They are transvestites making a mockery of the sacred.

  • funny since I know plenty of "REAL" nuns that love them...

they do plenty of works of charity, just like nuns, they takes vows just as nuns...

So until you can show me just they are making a mockery shut up...

its no worse than people that dress as nuns and other people of the cloth for halloween

  • Nuns are entitled to their opinions but they are not infallible.

I have made vows, I am not a nun. Charitable works do not make them nuns.

This is an open forum, telling me to shut up will not work.

  • so nuns that think its great that they bring people closer to god and community mean nothing...gotcha

  • I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here.

  • @shedtic - actually tranvestites are HETRO-sexual men who simply enjoy womens clothing ... DRAG QUEENS are homosexual cross dressers.

  • @shedtic Sacred? You mean you and your kid fucking priests?

  • The body and blood of our Lord Jesus being desecrated. These men have just recieved judgement on themselves by doing so! God have mercy on their souls!

  • @jimmyhd1969 - let God judge who has insulted him ... that is NOT your place

  • Wow, the people I saw bing kind to them and saying thank you and giving them love...where's the issue? This was some person who is full of hate and fear trying to put them in a bad light. Apparently it failed from the get go! It didn't bother church goers, so why should it bother you?

  • Got to love the SiStErS !!!

  • tHREE CHEERS to you. I thought i was the one that saw these things. The true meaning of a Christian is 'an idiot follower' They swallow every ceremonial made up tradition like pigs without ever looking into anything and call it faith. i call it a hot iron to the eyes.

  • @luvsexpain - as opposed to someone like you who possibly believes in nothing, an empty shell of what the aspect of life is supposed to be . I pity you

  • @brycejacksoncvt - Kno rather than believe, u can believe a man in is the house across from u all u want, the lights in there may be on, still if u don't go & look in u kno not for sure he is in there. Religion has ppl traped on this front, belief. i kno there is a Creator, i kno demons in flesh doctored His Scriptures in 325 A.D. Nicene Conference & inserted a sun deity (Jesus Christ) as a Messiah supplanting the real 1 for societal control 2 this day aka the Catholic Church scarlet whore.

  • @brycejacksoncvt - Read (Titus 1:10-14) u will see the word Cretan or Cretin, get an old Oxford dictionary & look up the etymology & meaning this word. u will see the word Christian derives from Cretan & means idiot. These freaks who gave the world religions were not sent by the Almighty (Isaiah 29:9-14 & Ezekiel 13). Only the the Israelite lineage (black ppl) has the Creator's true knowledge (Romans 3:1-3 & 2:12) & it is from them only that truth will come again as bad as it looks now.

  • @luvsexpain - um .. i guess that is one way of looking at it

  • Don't be silly, try to learn what the Catholic Church and Faith really are instead of writting such thing

  • Feckless

  • Those who disagree with Catholic teachings or want to poke good-natured fun at them are not therefore "anti-Catholic." Gimme a break here people. Most of the Catholics responding to this probably have all sorts of disagreements with, say, Mormon doctrine, and still wouldn't like to be called "anti-Mormon" either.

  • The guy rolling his eyes in funny. He things the SPI in their clown costumes are weird, but he didn't have a problem taking "communion" from that enabling priests wearing a dress.

  • San Francisco Catholic Church: When Patrick O'Shea was caught molesting children, he was promoted to Monsignor, and they tried to get his victims to join the seminary. Is this how Catholics recruit their priests? It certainly seems to be the case more often than anyone thought.

  • When I was in high school in Los Angeles the hottest guys were in the "student governemnt" and they would be at the brothers' house every damn weekend! Now I think I know why.

  • While I think that the SPI are rather silly and annoying at times, I am glad that we have groups such as theirs who are willing to stand up to the sexist, insidious, hypocritical Catholic child-molesters in our communities. If we are to truly rid our society of this filth, we have to start someplace. I am a moral, conservative, middle-class citizen and would much rather have my children around the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence than a member of the Catholic clergy.

  • Try dressing up in the habit of mother Teresa's order and work among the poor for a while in Calcutta, now that would be worth while.

  • Eh...I think it's stupid. As much as I am not one for organized religion, I still think people have the right to believe what they want to believe without it being disrupted. It's all stupid though. Why can't people just learn to turn the other cheek if you dont agree with someones beliefs? It doesnt effect you in any way. just stay out of it. This goes for all sides, religious and non.

  • Lol those two are awesome, makes me want to join if I ever move ot SanFran.

  • Are we sure the Archbishop's not an Episcopalian in disguise?

  • @AnHonestChristian - whats wrong with Episcopalian/Anglican's anyway???? It should be noted that Pope Paul VI called the Church of England "our beloved sister church"

  • @brycejacksoncvt There's nothing wrong with good, confessional Anglicanism as it was believed and received at the time of the Reformation. There IS a problem with the theological liberalism in the Episcopal Church & the Anglican Communion in the West (e.g., open communion, ordination of women, blessing of homosexuality). It does not surprise me that Paul said that; he was a very ecumenical pope. However, I am a Lutheran, for clarity.

  • @AnHonestChristian - When was it said that women cant be ordained. Also, where does is explicitly say that homosexuality is a sin? Iv read the bible and I dont remember those exact words being said.

  • These guys receive the body of Christ which and insodoing join Him in His suffering and they partake in His grace and glory. If they do while unrepentantly committing acts of sin, they participate to their own condemnation. It's as simple as that. I'm gonna let God sort this out.

  • Jimbacsi:"I'm gonna let God sort this out". That`s what any reasonable person should do and not judge.Peace !!

  • I've lived in Key West. I've seen devout gays attend church at St Mary's, the Catholic Church there and at the MCC church there. They never dressed like that for services that I saw. Fantasy fest, yeah, but not to attend church. It was deliberately rude and disrespectful.

  • Actually, you might contact Reverend Neil at MCC LA. The Sisters have been asked there to commemorate World AIDS Day and appear in other services on multiple occasions for some years now.

  • But that is the MCC's choice! It is fine that the Sisters do good work; but was this a "good work" the Sisters are proud of? I mean, really?

  • yeah what he said!!

  • You need to spend some time in the Castro to understand this. The Sisters have been a staple of the neighborhood for 30 years. Most SF Catholics are not concerned with them, and in fact the Most Holy Redeemer Church is mostly gay, so the sight of two guys in drag is nothing out of the ordinary. The person who recorded this video was a right-winger from San Jose who drove up to San Francisco specifically to film this to create fodder for scum like Bill O'Reilly to huff and puff about on Fox News.

  • For anyone who lives in SF and knows the situation, it's no big deal. We seem to have a kinder, gentler form of Catholicism in SF (I'm not Catholic, but the Most Holy Redeemer folks are much less scary than Pope Rotweiler, for example). Those of you that don't live here that are getting all up in arms about it need to put it in perspective. This is San Francisco.

  • I seem to recall another city or two like SF, specifically the Castro district. I wonder where they are now!

  • ........Oh wow. Somebody plays the Sodom and Gomorrah card. Didn't see THAT one coming. So, what now, are you waiting for terrorists to rain down the fire and brimstone on us that we apparently deserve for daring to let people (that you don't even know) love who they love? Gonna laugh and point and tell everybody I told you so? Is your horse high enough yet, or are you still getting some oxygen?

  • I'm not on a high horse. I am a lowly sinner. Christ however is high above in His kingdom at the right hand of the Father. And the Father, not terrorists is in control. Those who refuse to listen to the Father WILL pay for what they do, in this life or the next. Hopefully in this one so there's time to repent.

  • Not quite sure what your point is. Is this some weird twisty way of acting humble while still suggesting I and the 744,000 people around me ought to burn to death?

  • The point is which you obviously miss is that if you're a sinner (which we all are) but have not repented, the time is now. Repent and give your life over to God. The Father loves you just the way you are, but He loves you too much to let you stay that way. I don't say this out of malice but rather out of Love.

  • And where does the genocide fit in?

  • "Right-winger" Do you mean people of faith that believe in God and obey his commandments and actually have respect for the Body of Our Lord? Is that what you mean by right-wingers. These fakes are disrespectful. I don't care about Bill O'Reilly's how, but I do care about people mocking my faith. They should be ashamed of themselves. And what does it matter if they're in SF? does that make it ok. Sin is sin, no mater where you are.

  • Look closely at the video again. You can see the priest check out the guys butt as he walks away after he takes the little piece of cracker from him. 2 funny!

  • The AB was and is out of line with Church policy on this type of behavior.

He is now in trouble with Rome because he failed to discipline these outlaws.

    They will be dealt with.

  • wait a minute... aren't you a Wizard??

  • Note that there was no violence towards the Sisters, no untoward remarks or rude behavior to folks who were outrageously garbed. Even the Archbishop granted them communion although he acknowledged later that he should not have done so.

  • yes, that's true. and I noticed one gentleman can be clearly seen saying to them, "Thank you for being here".

  • it seems that the only response that you and the ''sisters''are capable of is cackling mockery to any black and white statement or argument put to you.

    You all have reprobate mentality.

And God is the one you can thank for that, according to prophecy.

  • if you're going to call people names, please support your right to do so with more detailed data. What was the cackling mockery which responded to what black & white statement please? I ask because I haven't found any, so please help me see what you were seeing.

  • Sisters of Perpetual Perversion!

  • AMen orion.

  • These nuns are awesome. I didn't see them modeling any behavior in this video that seemed mocking or irreverent. What really frightens me are the some of the violent/ignorant/idiotic posts I've read in this comments section. No wonder these sisters are doing what they're doing.

  • These homosexuals are doing what they are doing because they have no love for the Father or Christ. They revile him. They didn't have to do anything wierd while they were there. They are a group that mocks the faith. They are not Catholic. They disrespect the Body of our Lord.

  • How would you know why they are doing what they are doing? Have you asked them?

  • I've heard them plenty of times. These are not some news guys off the street. They have been around for a while and they mock the Catholic Church. They have even said so themselves. So don't try that with me. I've heard them myself.

  • A few harmless jokes maybe. But these guys are attacking and mocking. There's a difference. And besides they hate the church. I can't believe I'm even talking like this. You need to look up some of the things they/ve said and done. See for yourselves from their own mouths. They are not innocent, please. They want the Church to be done away with. They are filled with hate for the Catholic Church. And I'm sure ost other Christian churches.

  • one comfort is that whoever is in a church to post youtube clips really isn't a true follower of Jesus inasmuch as Bill O'Reilly... Christ's msg is love the sinner hate the sin--although wearing a dress is probably not nearly as bad as posting youtube clips aimed at embarressing churchgoers...

  • Please quote some scripture verses that say "love the sinner, hate the sin". That is protestant theology. It is NOT Catholic. Scripture states over and over again to part ways with a sinner.

  • Why don't they call themselves the Sister of Perpetual Sin?

  • Because they aleviate people of the guilt of sin, rather than heaping guilt on people in order to control them like the Church does.

  • Why would they dress as nuns? To mock the Catholic Church. Why can someone answer this?

  • They dress as nuns because it's silly, men as nuns, silly. In this way they hope to allow people more creative and social freedom to express themselves. But also because they believe in taking on the ancient role of the Berdache in this modern-ish form, to be servants of their community (gay mostly but also the whole community).

  • They serve the community by raising funds for charities, working for human rights and hopefully uplifting the people the encounter, with humor and at times with the non-denominational spirituality that can come from the heart.

  • They mocked a sacrament of the Catholic Church; there was no good will in the act. there was nothing 'uplifting' to the churchgoers in having their sacrament violated. But it didn't matter to the Sisters. They look down on those they mock. Some one who has faith, who has morals. That is to be mocked because some Catholics fail to keep to those morals; thus all must be failures. Yes, judge all by how a few act; that is what the Sisters DO; that is what they did that day.

  • I'm not sure if you've had a bad experience with some sisters personally. but all the ones I know are very careful not to mock Cathiolic folk. they have strong disagreement with cetain Cathiolic doctirnes, but are not int4rested in mocking people per se. I do know that the Sisters atteneding mass that day and rec3iving communion did so because it is their Cathiolic church, at least one of them is Catholic and is a member there. The other was her guest.

  • I do wonder at the folks who thought to bring a camera to mass. It seems to me like they were "laying in wait" for the archbishop and his visit to this well-kown-for-being-gay church. I understand from all the posts by devout Catholic folk, that he a liberal reputationn which it seems in not appreciated by them.

  • Someone is playing it for outrage. As far as I can tell that garb is not typical Sunday service wear. The filming was ready for thsoe two; not some accidental film by 'just some Catholic' in a nearby pew. It seems false to me, not the behavior of a pious Catholic, gay or not.

  • yes, I agree the presence of the camera was very thought out. Reading posts by the guy who filmed it, he went to the church film on purpose and was very enthusiastic about "catching" the sisters there on tape. He's been announcing his intention to send it along to the Vatican with robust fervor seemingly to get both the sisters and the archbishop in trouble.

  • I don't like his stated intent and I'm suspicious. That seems very wrong and not how I'd behave, not haw I'd expect a Catholic or any Christian to behave.

  • Amen.

  • #1. HER guest?

#2. By disavowing their own gender - they mock God.

#3. If they have "strong disagreements with certain Catholic doctrines" THEY ARE NOT CATHOLIC.

This is not a protestant church where you get to believe whatever you want to believe - their are requirements to receive the sacraments. Being united with the teachings of the Church is just one of them.

  • @justacatholic - also Protestants dont "believe" whatever they want. They simply put much more emphasis on Scripture then on traditional rituals . Then of coarse there is my church (the Anglican Communion) which as most of you know, borders on Protestant and Catholic (though I consider it to be a form of non papal Catholicism) BTW, Catholic is a greek word that simply means "universal" . It gives no such indication as to which church is "correct"

  • this was an ok video if the nuns actually played it up, as it was it was just 2 dudes in dresses, which is not new, it was not insulting or anything, actually beyond the look it was quite boring. I dont see the point in getting upset either way, there is clearly nothing that pressing to get upset with in the first place.

  • The upsetting point was that it was a sacrament of the Church. Taking that host was not like getting a cracker, it was blessed and their taking it was deliberate blasphemy against Catholics. It is very much worth outrage.

  • well. I'm not sure where, during Christ's talk at the Last Supper, He said what one must and must not wear in order to accept Him.

  • Well, I would like to know the opinion of non-militant gays about such an act of desecration... These ones are the scum of the earth!

  • Okay, it may have been disrespectful. But what is this Code of Canon Law stuff. Christ died for ALL of us. When he did the last supper he didn't say who or when we can that Communion. HE said, "Do this in remembrance of me."

  • Christ did chase the merchants out of the temple with anger because they did not respect it as a sacred place. these people were treated with much more respect than they gave to any of the Catholics in that Church.

  • Please point out for me how their garb disrespected the devout at the church? They seem OK in the video. Why did the right wing activists think it was OK to film inside the mass? That didn't disturb anyone either, but at least the sisters were focused on the service.

  • Why do you say it was the right wing who did the filming? It looked to me like someone filming the two guys specifically; like the "Don't taze me bro" guy had done, they brought their videographer to capture the 'moment'.

  • I know people who were there. The filmer was from a right wing Catholic group and has been posting about what he did on a site named ...oh heaven help me recall... um... Catholic Dio..soemthing arg. It's a Latin word. You can read what he's been writing.

  • I guess this will happen again in one year according to the date on your video, 2008... You really are off somewhere alone in this...

  • The decay....the decay...

  • 9 out of 10 dentists recommend plax to prevent decay. although i'd also recommend a little pax to help you to get along with your fellow beings.

  • What isn't being reported is that the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church is located in the predominatly gay Castro district and has primarily a gay congregation. That's why nobody - even the priest - batted an eye at this event. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are respected there for their charity work and in fact, are more accepted there than is the Catholic Church. The poster of this video took it all out of context.

  • America is the epicenter for eucharistic desacration; I HATE AMERICA AND ALL IT STANDS FOR.

  • @Compsognatious - Guess I cant be offended by this since as a Vermont Nationalist and Secessionist I am not really an American. Still though, would love to see you actually back this statement up with something

  • Heresy.

  • If I was Christian ( I'm Agnostic ) and observed freaks dressed so dressed enter the church I would kick some ass, drag their lifeless carcasses outside, then ask for forgiveness for my sin.Deviants are not normal and will never be accepted as long as they make issues of their deviant lifestyle and going after the innocent children. And nooooo I'm not homo-phobic.I dont fear!I am Homo-Nauseous! I wont debate with deviants/dont expect to discuss anything with this straight man!

  • @WhiteTiger2006xx - No worries bro, I only debate when I think Ill get an intelligent response ... which I doubt i would EVER get from you sir. Good Day

  • Some faggot grabbed my package at Kings Island, a local amusement park, back in 1989. I broke his hand and spent two days in jail. It was worth it though; nobody ever pulled a stunt like that on me again.

  • @BigTMan1 : So a pervert (him) and a violent man (you) both got what they had coming to them ... I like this.

  • So why was someone operating a video camera when they should have been concentrating on the holy mysteries?

  • burn them alive

  • postings like this are exactly why Christians deserve to be mocked!

  • I agree that was wrong to say that. No one needs to be burned, no one needs to be mocked; not Catholics, not Christians, not gays. Each of us needs to treat one another the way we want to be treated. Start with respect.

  • Respect is a fine thing, but hypocricy needs to be called out. When people claiming moral superiority because they consider themselves to be "Christian" say things like "burn them alive", it's time to point out that their values are completely corrupt!

  • look back, I called him out too. You have what is apparently an accepting church there but you castigate that church also. Email Oreilly's show; pass on the info you have about the guy who took the video and that church.

  • @CraigSFCA -All Christians deserve punishment for the actions of a few???? Thats kinda like putting the crimes a few on a WHOLE class of people, ... oh wait, its not KINDA like that , it IS like that.

  • (one last thing)

I thought gay people were supposed to be tolerant and friendly. These two are definitely not tolerant of anything else. They give gay people a bad name, and they kill everything gay people were fighting for, which is tolerance. If you're gay, then, you shouldn't be defending these two.

  • How are they not tolerant , your the ones not tolerant now grow up and loose the hate fool .. ...
