Thanks for this. Couldn't bring the DVDs with me to uni, so great to be able to watch it. This is definitely one of the best episodes of a great show. It balances the humour with more serious and emotive scenes so perfectly. Also Henry Martin is one of my favourite songs from the series.
Frasers speech at about 2:00 minutes actually made me tear up.. I was close to tears watching this episode the first time, and now, the second time through, i definitely started crying. That's so touching and sweet.

I think I'm way to wrapped up emotionally in this show. Haha.
also, love RayV's 'sorry' when told misunderstanding the put the guns down part... also, anybody been to jail? like they'd let the present into the civilian side, let alone into the prisoner side... right?
again, have you been to jail? my aunt came to take care of my house/pets when i was away for two weeks. she had never been to the town i live in so i drew a quick map that i was either going to point out key locations or give it to her, i wasn't even allowed to bring it to the visiting room. that was reno, i don't know how other towns work but i'm pretty sure you can't give presents. jail is a place where they issue 'anti-shank' toothbrushes, it says so right on the packaging. ha!
I have visited jails, yes. There are a lot of behavior factors involved. He wold have to not be in general population where someone else could get it and wold have to be considered non-dangerous himself. The list of requirements is huge and he would be uncommon, but it cold be done.
...oO...is that ryan phillipe ? :O

The present had an unsecured top, so they could open and see what was there before it was brought in. Probably not an issue.
