  • @edwintanjunhong Same here.

  • wow it seems that after 3 generations of ati cards this game is at last playable at high settings.sighhh...

  • I ended up getting 6970, I paid 200 bucks canadian got it on kijiji from some Guy in toronto sold my 5770s for 300 for the set pretty amazing deal for new top of the line single card

  • I7 doesn't say much. Which version

  • so will the AMD Radeon 6970 play World of Warcraft ok? do u think?

  • @IgnorantBananaPeel OH YES if it can run this at enthusiast graphics setting at 40FPS you will be able to run wow at max setting with constant 60fps... wow isnt a very graphics intensive game xD

  • I have a problem when i run the game i have 5 fps in 64bit but i have i7 950 with hd 6970.

    Why have only 5 fps?:S:S

  • @Vaidan1992 What kind of power supply do you have ? And do you have the latest drivers ? Please explain a bit more

  • @3SnakeSolid

I have corsair ax750 and ccc 11.2 and my crysis 1.2.1 fixed

  • Whats better 2x GTX580 or 2x AMD 6970? Thats with a Core i7 960 at 3,20 GHz.....

If anyone could give me an answer I would appreciate if you could send me a message..... thanks. Cant wait to play some of the newer games!!

  • @Gruffington31 For the price of 2 GTX 580's you can get a 6990 + 6970 Tri-Fire, witch kills 2 580's for around the same price : ) Im running a 6990 + 6970 Tri-Fire right now, And it's crazy!

  • @HiLuckyB Thanks for the reply bud, I eneded up going with a less powerful system. I now have an i7 2600k with a gtx 550ti and 8gb. It has good power effeincy and runs all games at decent settings. I use my system for work as well as games and the price was goood!! ;)

  • this is one of crysis warhead least taxing levels my 3xgtx480 ownes this level at those setting

  • It's only about 20% faster than the HD 5870. The big boost won't be until the 28nm Northern Islands.

  • i7 @ 3.1? Stock with turbo boost kicks up more then that. Looks like ill wait for the 6990. My 3 5770's at the same settings can hold around 60FPS.

  • @HiLuckyB Well I have the 920.. stock with turbo on is around 2.8 GHz.

  • @exophasetube Really? I thought most of them kicked up to 3.6 O well. You should get that baby to 3.6 or 3.8 easy! Im running my i5 750 @ 4.0GHz right now. Im getting a i7 875K and going to 4.2GHz maybe 4.4GHz : )

  • @HiLuckyB what are you doing on your pc to need that much? I have the same cpu @3.2 on 2 monitors both 1080p 19 inch and 23 inch, I have a game fps usually on the 23 inch with hd movies usually bluray's on the 19 inch several things runnig in the back ground and never exeed 65%.

  • @iLEGENDARYx Mostly because I can! But it gives a good boost in games. And its needed when your running crossfire and Tri-fire to help the cpu keep up with that much gpu power. Around 4.0GHz is where you stop getting fps boost in most games.

  • @HiLuckyB I never thought the crossfire would benefit from higher cpu speeds thanks for the info.

  • @exophasetube which i7? you should be able to get a i7 920 to 4.2Ghz if you got some good cooling. My AMD 1090T runns stable @ 3.7Ghz but @ 4.2 it overheats when using Mugen 2 cooler. Mugen 3 will release somewhen . maybe try ;D?

  • @HiLuckyB hey could you make a video of your 3 5770s, i have 3 of them im debating on selling 2 of them and getting a 6970, cause id have to by a new motherboard as mine only supports 2 gpus, i got the third 5770 for 50bucks mint condition it was a good deal. should i get a new card or should i get a new motherboard and 3 way crossfire

  • @zegeta18 Just go 6970! The 5770's are getting old for all the new games that are coming out. Im going 6990 when it comes out.

  • @HiLuckyB It already has...

  • @DiDolRuChagi What?

  • @HiLuckyB 6990 is already out.

  • @DiDolRuChagi I know! I said that 3 days before it came out.

  • @HiLuckyB My bad, I didnt know what day it came out, I was on newegg, and it was on there.

  • @DiDolRuChagi Yea its been out for 4 days.

  • @TheMISTERAMD Really? Ive never seen a amd cpu running that high. How about a video to prove it, Because anyone on youtube can say that!

  • @HiLuckyB I made a typmistake. It's running at 3.72 Ghz and not 4.72Ghz :) One big sorry for my typ mistake(s) :-D

  • @TheMISTERAMD 4.1-4.3 is more realistic with that cpu to keep it stable.

  • @TheMISTERAMD It's 3.72 and certainly not 4.72. I made a type mistake because I was too fast with typing. One big sorry!

  • @TheMISTERAMD

i will buy that combination too:))

    your fps on crysis?

  • @HiLuckyB What ??? 3 HD 5770 ??? I cant do that...

  • @GSSRekhyt All Enthusiast. Around 40FPS at 1920x1080 with 4xAA, though this vid was taken at 720p since Fraps pretty much cuts performance in half.

  • @exophasetube How would performance be for me? Bitfenix Colossus Gaming Case MSI 890FXA-GD70 Motherboard ASUS Radeon HD6870 1GB EAH6870 (going to overclock) inWin 850W Commander Series Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 3Gb/s 1.5-TB Hard Drive AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Samsung SH-B123A 12X Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive CoolIT ECO A.L.C. CPU Cooler 120mm 6gb ram thanks
  • @lycanwolf2 You should be able to play 1920x1080 with roughly 40 fps. Maybe a bit more, I used to have a 6850 and it ran 1920x1080 30 fps, but would dip a lot.

  • @exophasetube Still pretty damn playable...no, not pretty damn playable; playable in every aspect. Great card hey?
