Even if the person seems alright after the head injury they are not out of the woods, they have to be watched. I recall a car accident i went to where a woman had no visible injury yet 10 minutes later she began saying the most bizarre stuff which indicates pressure is building inside the head. After another 5 minutes she was projectile vomiting. They can go from seeming perfectly fine to unconscious in little time.

Same shit happened to me. I passed out while lifting weights, my spotter wasnt fucking paying attention and i fell back and my head hit a weight rack. They said I layed on the ground mumbling and twitching for about 5 minutes. People have no clue that concussions are what started ROFL.

In head injury situations, you should leave the person in whatever position they came to rest in, because moving them could aggravate a spinal injury you don't know about. Only turn them on their side if they begin to vomit so they won't choke on it.

I had something similar to this happen to me while I was snowboarding. Luckily, I was wearing a helmet. Had I not worn a helmet, I probably would be in a lot worse shape right now. It probably prevented some major brain damage. I tried doing a box that sloped up and switched to a downward slope. When it switched to the downward slope, my board flew out from underneath me and the back of my head smacked the box. I still don't remember anything about the day before I came to.

Duuuuudee! Concussion is horrible. I am just recovering from concussion, I came off my BMX doing a jump and SMACK. 20 minutes later I'm lying on the ground asking "Is this real?" and "My teeth hurt". So I've been told. My friend phoned the ambulance and I came around just as it was coming, so the paramedics walked me over to it, then I blacked out on the bed. Then I went into hospital and kept being sick so they sent me for a brain scan, but it was OK I went home. Full-Face helmet from now on!
