It is a depressing day in America when the Lava Lamp Fan Tribute to a great song and a great artist is disabled due to "copyright". So much for Joni's "For Free" ideas. The money spent to make a corporate "video" of the song could feed a village of starving kids and the Lava Lamp looks pretty good compared with what's on TV these days. The Lava Lamp Fan Tribute is perhaps an example of the most genuine form of American Folk Art there is today.
why is it that people who don't write songs think they have "freedom" with everyone else's? how do you pay the rent?
