  • Was that song Sandie Shaw performed "By Tomorrow"? I would like to see it because they're only showing it in B&W kinoscope. Like the clip after that of the Brit guy saying the show's name and making a face like Louis Armstrong. Is it me or that person having the show's name squenced on the back a precusor to what another person did on "American Bandstand" later on in the 70's? In any case, this is almost better than the first.

  • What's a "Top of the Pops" montage not complete without having Dusty Springfield (circa 1970)? One of the two greatest female singers to ever come out of England (the other is Petula Clark).

  • Tell me the following editions of these compilation clip's please.

  • are the full shows these clips come from available - fantastic to see this. Its musical history. Cant believe the BBC taped over so many great shows

  • I'm 62 - NO! NOT one of the Prince Charles Genration - what a liberty that was. They always what to get the Royals in. Our history is made up of Royal eras. Make me sick.

But thanks for the old Top of the Pops compo. Too short, but great stars, one or two I don't remember. Nevertheless, takes me back. Okay.

  • 0:9" - whos that?

  • omg. and 0:40 ??

  • KENNY EVERETT!!!! I'd love to see his surviving show from 73!!!!!!!
