This is an absolutely great synth that can be a fantastic addition to any type of music. The sounds are not found anywhere else even on the future Motifs. The pads are delicious. You can shut the FX off with a push of the botton. Many extremely unusual and effective sounds. This is in my top 10 synth list.
I have a CS6x myself. It's not the best sample player keyboard in the world but it's quite good for electronic/techno music. It even has the famous "Solid Bass" preset. The sampling section is difficult to handle. I still don't know how to assign .wav-files from a memory card to different keys so that they can be played on the keyboard. The manual doesn't help much at that point. I took the "expensive" way out and bought myself a Roland SP-606.
